nah, she lives too far away (25mins) and isn't hot enough IMO to be constantly driving back and forth.

really? seemed like a good idea at the time...
first half of the text is like... damn I ****ed up, second half is like... hmmm, I could still get a root.
Now after a weekend where my main caloric intake was from beer, I still managed to put more weight on the bar thismorning.
but I pulled my right lat bailing from a log clean and press, now I know why comps usually have the rule "you must control the weight on the way down"... safety... oh well, its not too bad I think, and I learned a valuable lesson.

I had a chat to Firas last night, convinced me I can still drink hard liquor now and then and the gains will not be lost, And after this last weekend, still getting stronger with all the drinking I did... I guess alcohol cant be that bad. Enjoying my youth while I can ftw.
pro strongman in a few years , gotta get on the gear but I want to wait abit longer, need to be smart about these things.

Well my objective was to have my refeed calories at maintenance this time around, because of my relatively high calories this past week...and I was doing fine, except dinner was pretty much a disaster.
I didn't cheat, because I had no cheat materials. Just clean, straight-up carbs...but a little too many of them...I had at LEAST 2700 calories for the day. Most likely more.
I used to cycle my calories all the time, so I'm sort of used to it. I plateau when I eat the same amounts of everything every day.^_^

the thought has crossed my mind many times, but all it takes is 1 **** up, 1 injury to ruin any hopes of competing at a top level, then I'll have missed out on my youth, and not have a future in strongman, lose lose situation, I'd hate myself for that. If I just enjoy myself for now and take it day by day for the next year or two, at least I wont regret my youth.
but at the same time if I miss out on my strongman because I spent my days drinking and partying instead of putting all my efforts into my training and recovery then I'll hate myself for that too.
bah, I can't win haha.
