Mine, Will have more pictures tomorrow still sitting on the 10 day waiting period, ****ing california 09-09-09 FTMFW. EDIT: Glock 22.
Ah a brand new Glock with the Chevron serrations in the slide.
Nice guns. I miss my Glocks, I owned and sold about 10 of them over the years now. Ill have to pick up a Glock 19 here, since I do not have a 9mm at all, and everyone should have ONE at least.

I think the reason he was carrying a 10mm was for defense against large game because he was hiking.
also, i would have shot the dog first. then ran from that guy. he was unarmed
We all need to keep in mind that Mr. Fish was probably wearing a backpack that had some weight in it considering he was camping. Also, wasn't Mr. Fish in his late 50's? (I'll have to double check the facts on the case) The typical average male in his late 50's with a hiking backpack on isn't going to outrun many people.

There was a lot of testimony in this case that the deceased "victim" was aggressive and had temper control issues. I'm not sure how anyone can see this as a bad shoot. I personally wouldn't get in a fist fight with a gun on me and risk being disarmed by an attacker to have my own weapon used against me. I'd have to assume that if the deceased is crazy enough to approach me in an aggressive manner (even after giving his dogs warning shots) that he's after me to do extreme bodily harm. Besides what was he supposed to do? Holster his weapon and fist fight him?
This was a sh!tty situation to be in but I think he handled it as best as he could. Assuming that Mr. Fish is being 100% truthful with his story, I'm not sure what else he could have possibly done differently.
--Ok I just double checked and Harold Fish was 59 at the time of the shooting.

Haha, I have heard a lot of the people not liking the slide grip design, but everything about the gun it seems is more made for the feel and handling, even though the badass meter is off charts IMO. And of course, still the reliability and accuracy of a glock. I have fired it a few time already, they wont let me take it home, but i think paying a little extra and buying your gun from a place that will let you use it during the 10 day period is just awesome.
It's nice and folds up well after a little adjusting (which requires a hex wrench). My only complaint is that it has no padding or recoil absorption so you'll get a nasty bruise on your shoulder when you shoot it. It's made of composite and seems pretty strong. Easy to install but must be removed every time you field strip (the pistol grip blocks the removal of the trigger). Hope this helps!

He could have done a lot of things. I don't know Fish, and personally I feel like this nutjob deserved a bullet, but the law is different.
Good solution? Shoot the dogs and/or walk away and hope the dogs don't chase you.
There is no good *legal* solution to being assaulted by an unarmed person while carrying. What *should* he have done? Picked up his brass and dropped it closer to the deceased.

I have to disagree. The feel and handling is about as sucky as it gets. No glock ever made has felt right in my hands or pointed instinctively. I use a couple but only because they are reliable beyond compare and fit my needs. I have had to teach myself where they point and how to hold them through many long hours of instruction. The triggers that come on the factory glocks are also absolutely HORRIBLE. I have done some minor mods on all of mine that make them not suck in the entirety but I will never say that particular pistol manufacturer got it right. They make a very reliable pistol that has to be trained with a lot to be useful and has to be modified to even be useable.
Most colt and smith revolvers point very naturally. All 1911 pattern weapons point up very nicely. Most usp weapons do the same as do the sigarms line of pistols. Most of the smith semi autos point up well but not all.

I ordered an a "tactical" stock for my 500 Mossberg and it was made by Advance Technology. It wouldn't fit my 500, even though the reseller said it would. They shipped me a bolt whose head extended into the pistol grip cavity and wouldn't allow the stock to be inserted fully.

I had to return the item and get a full refund.
I've been leery about buying another stock again.
I recommend the Knoxx spec ops stock for the 500. I had a ATI stock and wasnt impressed with it, I tossed it for the Knoxx.
Mirin Mosin sniper. What power is that scope? Is there anyway to put on another scope on that mount?
The scope is a 3.5x PU scope. The Russians say it's a 4x but they measure everything in Russian paces not yards, so technically it's a 3.5X.
I believe those mounts were specific to those scopes, but I suppose if the scope has a 1 inch tube, it would fit. Not sure how good the eye relief would be though. It would probably be way to far back or forward.
I know they make picatinny style mounts for mosins that you can put on, without cutting into the stock, like you do with the old PU scope mounts.

Have you attempted to try to shoot some groups with it yet?
Strong progress pics btw gjdm.
It'll do 2 MOA at 100 yards, Not too bad for a 70 year old gun. (could probably be better if I wasn't using some old Czech surplus ammo) My other Mosin, which doesn't have a scope on it, is and actual ex-sniper and does 1-1.5 MOA.
And thanks on the comment!
