Hey. I'm scared of squatting because I hear it makes you shorter is that true? (Facts)I'm 5'9" and can't afford to get shorter.
I'm starting the fierce five workout so idk if I should squat.
Can you back it up with facts? Thanks

Squatting wil not directly inhibit long bone growth. People who have inhibited their height are usually those who have placed an immense load on their bones and joints throughout their stages of growth from childhood. For you that would mean a very heavy squat, that of a powerlifter or olympic lifter.
I believe that one loses height while training due to compression of the vertebrate, moving the spacing closer together, and increasing the spinal curves in the neck, thorax and back.
Although you are currently growing at your age, training with moderate to heavy weight will help increase bone density and bone health so I would not worry about height so much.Everybody wanna get big, but nobody wanna do legs!!

Building muscle issues
I have lifted weights casually on and off for the last 15 years and would love to be more disciplined and stay with it long term. However, one thing has caused me to get frustrated and stop and then 6 months later I pick it up again and drop it 4 months later.
I have serious issues building muscle on the right side of my body. Specifically, right pectoral, right shoulders, right side of back, right side of abs, right bicep, right triceps. Oddly enough, the only muscle I don't have trouble building is my right forearm. Also I am right handed. When I say "issues building muscle" I mean I literally cannot feel a burn in those muscles on the right side of my body regardless of the workout. It's weird because i CAN however, feel lots of burn in my forearm regardless of my workout. It's almost like I cannot feel those muscles work or I can't isolate the burn in those muscles. I've had people with work out experience watch me to make sure my technique is correct on each work out and still I have the same issue.
when you look at me without a shirt on you can noticably see the difference espeically after I work out. My left side is swollen, but not so much on my right.
Has anyone encountered this before???
I should note I've seen a concussion doctor (i've had several concussions playing football) and he hasn't found anything wrong with my brain function. Also my mother has HNA a rare nerve disease that can result in muscular dystrophy and I have been test positive for the gene, but no sign of of the nerve attacks though. There's not much known about disease, however it known that there is an ungulating version of the disease that can gradually effect your muscles.

Hey guys.
I've been doing all pro full body for the last 3 and a half weeks I made errors since I'm new, but i did a lot of research and feel like I have proper form now. I've been working for months by the way, but recently started the all pro full body workout so I have some experience.
My routine
Bench press
Squat
Overhead press
Ez bar curl
Seated calf raise
Bent over row
Stiffed leged deadlift.
My question is. Is it ok if my front delts are sore. I'm scared of messing up my shoulders so I'm just curious if that's normal.

There is so much emphasis in keeping neutral wrist to avoid injury. But what about Hang/rack clean, power snatch, clean and press/jerk? Wrist extn. is fine here?

Lets say I lower the weight of one of my lifts by 10 lb. but in doing so I'm using proper form, as opposed to using somewhat momentum form with the 10 lb heavier version. Will I still build muscle due to using proper form but 10 lb. lower weight?

Great post! Couple of questions...Will hang cleans be a fair alternate for a full power clean? And for military press, I can't do the BB by itself for more than maybe 4-5 reps so will using dumbbells instead be sufficient for a while?
