I feel soon we will see the demise of ROH... the ECW saga for the company started with TNA completely mopping up the talent in Styles, Daniels, Joe, Low Ki (WWE), Homicide, MCM, Abyss, Petey Williams, CM Punk (WWE), Doug Williams, etc and the WWE now cleaning its stars in Punk, Ki, Bryan Danielson, Jimmy Wang Yang, etc and rumored to be looking at others. I would almost guarantee Colt being released and back to the indies isn't for long as he continues to develop outside of WWE having to pay him... much like they did with Danielson.
Now ROH is canceling shows, moving shows, bouncing checks, and reporting low earnings.
but this death could not be... What if someone came along and swiped ROH up (and not the WWE) to put some financial backing to the company, got a TV deal like VS or something and took back some of those TNA guys at least Styles, MCM, Joe, Cide, and Daniels and then hired a mind like Heyman who was able to get their one big "WWE level" star Rob Van Dam.
Would you watch it?

I think of TNA as ROH's reincarnation since so many of the names that made that place legit have gone there... there's no reason to watch ROH at this point to be honest.

the lineup for glory by honor at the end of the month on paper is as good or better then anything tna has put together in a long time...card is absolutely stacked. if you don't like the 'style' thats one thing but to say they still aren't putting on quality show is completely wrong
do they still put there shows on ppv? i remember reading they only got like 25 buys in canada or something once i lold. Jimmy Wan Yang should go back there since he doesnt do anything but i dont see ROH surviving for too long.
where is low ki anyway i havent seen him rassle yet

roh replaced their ppv deal with a weekly tv show. only problem is the show is on hdnet and only like 6 people in the country get that channel lol
low ki is in fcw under a wwe development deal as 'kaval'
ah kz. Seems they lost alot of talent guys. Jeryy Lyyn is champ thats facepalm stuff right there imo
jerry lynn is not champ...austin aries is champ. and the belt was put on lynn because 1)nigel tore both biceps and had to miss time and 2)they tried to play off the popularity of 'the wrestler' by pushing lynn as being similar to mickey rourke's character...terrible idea imo and glad he dropped the belt
If ROH ends then it will only affect the 300 fans who normally go to their shows and the once or twice a year 1,000 that go to its NY city shows....I think the normal ROH fan will deal with life as they have...being in their mid 30's without ever having a woman in their life and watching japanese cartoons.....
'Red Sox Nation?' Hank says. 'What a bunch of bull**** that is. That was a creation of the Red Sox and ESPN, which is filled with Red Sox fans. Go anywhere in America and you won't see Red Sox hats and jackets, you'll see Yankee hats and jackets. This is a Yankee country. We're going to put the Yankees back on top and restore the universe to order.' Hank Steinbrenner

Someone jealous of ROH's superior indy shows?

Give ROH credit they have outlasted the likes of SMW, ECW the most highly regarded non big 2 of the 1990's & this decade only survived for 9 years between 1992-2001 & the Heyman era was only really late 1993-early 2001 or about 7 & a half years, ROH has been running for that now.

And do you have actual proof of this? MM seems like a good guy, but he has the ego of someone who means something, when he doesn't.
Actual proof? Check out review sheets and tapes. Or how about you go see for yourself? Stop being a fanboy and defending a company just because someone says something bad about it.
And talentless? Now I know you know nothing about his shows. He's brought in guys from all over the world and ones who later became big names in the industry.
And his "ego2 as you say is someone whos in the industry and knows the ins and outs of behind the scenes. Unlike fans, he knows dirt and isnt afraid to spill his mouth on topics he doesnt approve of, or promotions he sees as unfit, overated or likewise. Yeah he does speak great about himself at times over his promotional reputation, but guess what? If you can walk the walk, you can talk all night long and MM can.

Most of you obviously don't currently follow ROH very closely. Since March they have been putting on better shows than any show under Gabe after DBD VI. These upcoming shows will be fantastic. They still have the best roster alongside PWG on the indies. There's plenty of reasons to watch. They just need to get out of Philly for a while.

And now McGuinness has signed to WWE... if TNA were smart they'd go ahead and grab up the Briscoes, American Wolves, and Austin Aries before the E does (doubt E would get the Briscoes they just dont fit their image but I could see the wolves and Aries)

Do you work for him? It sure seems like it. He runs a small indy fed in (NY?). I highly doubt I'm going to find reviews, or be able to attend. No one knows what UXW is, ROH is far more popular, and puts out a far superior product from what I've seen.
Masked Maniac is the guy who never made it, who has to lash out on everyone else. He gets online to brag about his "credibility", so that he feels important.
You should really stop believing everything the guy posts.

If this was directed at my comment about predicting a death shortly after the Gabe firing, allow me to rebutt... I am not saying ROH is product is worse 'cause he's gone. I wasn't a huge fan of the Gabe style of booking anyhow.
I'm saying his firing wasn't a good sign for the long term health of the company, and right around that time were multiple reports of ROH cutting back on many expenses and the uncertainty of their future. I still believe that is the case and there are some rough patches ahead.

Compare Maniac's 1000+ paid shows when he ran in NY against ROH's 1000+ paid shows, and see who walks away with the larger profit. In the wrestling business, it all comes down to dollars and cents at the end of the day. If a promoter can make a killing in revenue from any hack that can't work but brings in a ton of paid fans, his workrate is trivial. Thats why there are indy workers on shows if people wanna see guys that can "work" or "go"...they'll work cheap, just to get exposure. So as much as you sound like an elitist and a smart fan...you're actually coming off as a bigger mark than those "WWE tards" you ROHbots hate so much.
Oh and Maniac doesn't watch the boys in the back change or have relationships with the younger wrestlers and isnt a phaggot like Cary Silken. ROH is just another example of why niche wrestling has not, cannot, and will not work in the long-term.

What is an ROHbot? I'm simply calling a guy out who gets his jollies from bragging about his ****ty wrestling shows online.
