    gaining weight while boxing?

I plan on bulking soon but at the same time want to improve my cardio for boxing. Is it possible to gain weight and do a ton of cardio 4 times a week?

Bulking is not for you if you are boxing. I boxed about 2 years ago and it was all cardio. Circuits, bag work, sparring. I dont think it would be possible to bulk whilst doing 4 cardio workouts a week, even with a fantastic diet. I have quit boxing now so I just do all weights 5 days a week. Their was no way I could of bulked when I was boxing.

Guessing he's a teen you dont see many teens from 13-18 go to heavyweight. Especially with their metabolisms being fast. Totally agree that you can do it but not at this age. Unless he is around 19+.

if your going to do that you have to eat more calories than you've burned which would be hard to tell
