Do I have enough muscle to cut, opinions please

I posted this before in the fat loss section but it may have been the wrong place. I have been concentrating on losing fat for about 5 months. I think I am around 20% maybe more, 3 site J/P gives 19ish. I am pretty sure that a 4 month cut is the way to go from here but would really appreciate any other opinions or even just to confirm I am on the right track. I am 212 and 6 foot. My biggest goal is to be lean but I am not sure whether to get somewhat bigger first. I lift full body 3 x a week and cardio 4 x.
Lastly any opinions as to whether my BF% is around 19 as measured.

I think you need more mass before you cut or you'd turn out way too small.

from where you are now you can go either way...

If you cut you will be very skinny.
But if you bulk and don't manage to do it clean enough you will be fat and at about 19% BF now there's not much sense in getting to 25%!

My opinion is you should get down to around 12% BF and then clean bulk, at 12% you still won't look super skiny, and if you clean bulk from there you body will actually be more efficient at A) building muscle and B) keeping fat off. just be carefull while you are getting down to 12% do it right to preserve what muscle you have i.e eat clean, just below maint and work your arse off both with cardio and weights.

Also give this a read - no need to be fat...
    http://www.tmuscle.com/free_online_a..._about_bulking

good luck! as I said you could go either way.

    I completely agree with Biigcal!

Start a bulk now, will just make you look fat, and you more fat you have the less muscle you build. So keep up the good work, and cut down and then go for a clean bulk IMO. I am doing the same thing, 14 weeks ago I was 211 ibs, im now @ 168. And I will cut for one or two more weeks. Take a look at my thread, you might find some inspiration (newest pics at page 3) http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...hp?t=118249831

As fo BF I would say a little more then 19%, more like 22%.

Keep up the great work man!

You need to cut. You dont have much muscle on you from the looks. It looks like a beginner lifter to be honest. But you need to cut, you look around 23%ish bf
