    Just saw someone post that in this forums, saying something like "I only deadlift 315 I know that's weak but blah blah blah."

    Max 315 isn't anything to brag about. Wouldn't say its weak, simply cuz you can't really judge whats weak/good without the person's stats

    depends on your stats tbh. Its a milestone forsure. but if youve been training for a substantial amount of time and arent super skinny then 315 isnt exactly insanely heavy weight for deads.

    who cares? I dont care about how much weight i can lift..i care about getting my body in shape and looking decent....weather it means dead lifting 275 or 375. No one will really know anyways unless they workout with you so it doesnt matter. I DL 215 for reps for 4 sets...to me thats "ok" my grip sucks so its not as good as it can be but as long as my muscles get worked then i dont care.

    It is pretty weak for a max if you've been deadlifting for a year or two.

    It's not weak compared to the state of being untrained...

    but for a seasoned lifter, yes that is weak. 315lbs is very easy to achieve on the deadlift.

    It's like how most untrained people are referred to as "skinny", even though they're development is average for modern society. Because it's RELATIVE to a forum full of LIFTERS.

    Also I think most people have absolute **** form on deadlifts, just judging by the douche nozzles who I see in my gym occasionally trying to deadlift. Absolutely TERRIBLE pulling with their back curved, all sorts of bull**** just to get the weight up. Sad, really.

    315 is weak, if you take some time to get the form down and get yourself in the most efficient position, 315 should be an easy pull.


    Edit: Ive pulled 585 and i feel thats weaksauce, you should never be content with ur lifts imo.

    i had trouble deadlifting 135 when i started and now 315 is a joke. i'm tallish and not very heavy either. i dont see the average lifter struggling with 315.

    Eh, I can't even deadlift 315, but I can squat that
    sucks.well at least normal deadlift..sumo deadlift for me is way easier.
