wouldn't be an adaptation because blacks skulls are shaped diffrently, and tend to have larger lips, dont see how they could come in handy as a adaptation. (no racist)

Look at the whole picture. Everything is not neccessarily an adaptation it could be just from the lack of the need of adaptation or pure cooincidence. How do I put this? maybe your hair may be straight just becuase the air in great britain/europe was misty for your ancestor (making it wet and slick and straight).
