I've recently started to jog 4 miles a day, and also lifting 3 days a week,do you think the keto diet will be okay? Or should I add carbs and lower the fat?

No reason why it would not work but it will prob take about 2 weeks for your body to adjust, until then you may feel weak and run down.
Depends on your reasons for wanting to be on keto I guess.

Actually, it should take less than a week for your body to start feeling right again. Everyone is different though and some get into ketosis faster than others.

This is true, perhaps I was wrong in assuming this is her first trip into a keto diet, the first time sometimes takes an adjustment period because people are just not used to the way you feel in ketosis the "flu" as it is called, but really ketosis for most people is attained in a few days so you are def correct.

I've been on it for a while but not religously, I've been focusing pretty well for the 10 days, I seem to feel okay and can jog 4 miles without stopping, but is it really okay to be eating saturated fats like salad dressings, bacon, hamburger and butter or am I supposed to be eating good fats?

Stick to your macros.. And I'd experiment with eating some fat right before running.. I'm not sure of the answer, but I'd imagine extra fat = extra endurance?? Anyone have tips on that?

you can eat saturated fats There is quite a bit of info discussing the effects saturated fat has on your cholesterol/triglycerides while on keto. General consensus is its fine
And its one of the best parts of keto - mmmm butter and cream! I dont know if I could stomach the olive oil only version
And good luck with it. I remember you from the female section a while back and you were having a really hard time losing, even after following all advice. I was the same, it took me 19 months to lose 15lbs on a 40/40/20 diet. I have lost an additional 10lbs in the last 16 days of keto. I hope you have similar results

I m pretty positive its working foe me as well, im just so carb sensitive and i dont know why, i can eat & eat junk food & not gain weight but its so so hard for me to lose it, also there is so many people on here against to much cardio, and I have to do it! i have been jogging 4 to 5 miles a day and doing circuit training 3 days a week and finally its working!! Maybe its to much, But after i lose the 12 lbs i gained i will mellow it out a little, but so far i feel great!

I jog three times a week. I eat a small granola bar and a shot of whey an hour before, energy is not a problem right now, just need to keep building lung capacity.

I'm more of a proponent of eating healthy fats when on a keto diet. I feel bad enough that i'm not eating veggies or fruits so I try and stay as healthy as possible (nuts, eggs, pb, fish oils, extra virgin olive oil, macadamia nut oil). I actually try and steer clear of dairy when i'm dieting as well.
