LOL, if you start your diet this week and eat what you think is good but at the end of the week you haven't lost weight decrease the amount of food you ate some!

In other words no weightloss you ate to damn much!

Basically what I'm trying to say..

To me though it's easier to simple replace some of the fats an carbs with leaner proteins.
I personally build muscle better with a very high protein diet and it keeps me from being hungry and cranky while on limited cals.

Mon-Fri eat nothing but green veggies, meat, cheese, fish, whey, etc. No milk, no starches, no carbs, basically. Sat and Sun eat whatever you want. the next Mon-Fri do it all over again.

I want lie it's a nice way to diet. Bison is one of my favorite staples while dieting. A very lean cut will have about 250 cals and 50 grams of protein for 8oz steak. LOL lunch today.

Of course, but I don't think they will until like the 2-3rd week or so. You'll drop like 10 lbs (mostly water) in like the first 1-2 weeks, though.

There's a keto sub-forum in the nutrition section.

how much does bison meat go for per pound?

keto does sound interesting. but, its way too risky for someone like me who has never even been on a serious cut. plus, the side effects from not running it right scare me.

Try preparing stuff days in advance and have lots of containers/freezer bags to put it in

Yeah this is what I do, I cook a a bag of chicken breast on my George Foreman ( grilling sucks in the winter). It usually isn't enough to last me the week, so I have some type of fish for the weekends, right now it is orange ruffy. I get a head of broccoli and chop it all, as well as the chicken, put everything in baggies in the fridge.

Mass grilling for the week FTW

Weighed in at 211 this morning, which is actually only 1 pound from last week. I want to loose it slow, but I seem to go too much one week, then too little the next. I am still having hard time balancing getting enough food and too much.
