Identify This Bench
Can anybody tell me what brand this bench is, and how much it would be worth. Thinking of making an addition to my home gym.

That looks like one of those old "DP" Diversified Products benches. I used to have one of those a long way back. Stores like Sears used to sell them.
I have fond memories of those early workouts...but I can't say I miss the bench too much.

No matter what they are asking, that's a STEAL! All it needs now is a Daisey Duke poster on that tree...

This is absolutly hilarious!!!!!!
That is my first bench.
Or rather one exactly like it. Mine was upholstered in sweat stained denim though, I replaced the denim with vinyl. I still have the bar, cast collars, dumbbell handles, and gold ten pound cement weights. The weights say Sears, Roebuck, and Co. on the side of them by the way. So the bench could be DP or have just been Sears brand.
I paid $15 at a church rummage sale for it with about 200#'s of various weights in 1989 or 90. I sold it with a bunch of metric cement weights and no bars for $20 at a garage sale about a decade ago, thus beginning a career of at least making money from weight equipment if not muscles . Given that level of inflation it should be worth at least $25 today

LOL! I've had this image on my computer for over a year. I stumbled on it last night, and thought you guys would get a hoot out of it!
I had an old DP bench, too, Tim. Bought it at K-Mart, with a vinyl-covered cement "weight" set. The "plates" said "K-Mart" on 'em.
I particularly like the leg gizmo on there. Amazing, isn't it?
LOL x2! I just now realized that the Incline is higher than the bar! Ergonomics at their finest!

That is classic. You'd get a stretch trying to get that bar up from way back there. lol.

Now now, don't knock the 70's tech to bad. Thos bar holders are adjustable, and do get much higher than that. I remember them being just a bit low for me to squat with when at their highest.

Actually the entire arrangement reminds me of a giant mouse trap. I'd be afraid if I got on that thing, I'd set it off, and it would pinch my head off!

Are you sure that's not a new swing set that came without assembly instructions? Looks just like the one my brother built for his son.
He had a bucket of left over parts by the tree too.
