I'm never drinking again (serious)

I'm not saying this because I have a hangover (I don't).
Last night was another one of 'those nights'.
Even though I only drink once a week, when I do I drink a lot. I think I'm gonna stop drinking completely due to a few reasons:
- When I start, I can't stop
- When I'm drunk I'm inclined to do... lets just say another substance when someone brings it up
- I do such retarded **** when I'm drunk, I become another person.

I'm sitting here now thinking of all the embarrassing/stupid shit I did last, and I know I'll be feeling like crap about it for a good week.

Can anyone relate?

I don't think I'm an alcoholic, if I chose not to drink I won't (albeit it will be a bit difficult if all my friends are drinking). I believe an alcoholic it addicted to alcohol like a drug addict is addicted to drugs.

Anyway I'll list some of the things that I remember, perhaps it will make me feel better (this is all when I'm drunk and on said substance):
- I grabbed the ass of the girlfriend of the brother of the guy who's party it was
- I was extremely talkative (in an annoying way) and a lot of people just got pissed off
- I started hitting on this girl who I went to highschool with (and who I hadn't talked to for years) in front of a tonne of people (and her boyfriend was at the party)
- At many points in the night I was acting like a fiend to take more of said substance (don't want people thinking of me this way )
- Spent a lot of money

There are probably many more, they will come back to me later.

I was generally being fucking annoying and I'm gonna feel like **** about it for a while.

Easy solution is start hanging around with some hardcore boozers, that way you will never be the drunkest nor will everyone remember all the stupid **** you did

I use to say this too, every weekend for about 3 months straight. That was about 3 years ago, I still drink.

Done plenty of stupid stuff while drinking, sometimes I try to pee in random spots, like corner of a friends basement and another friends tv one time I was told. Also took a piss and left the door wide open and my friends grandma walked by and saw my dick. I try to keep it under control with the drinking now.

used to be in the same boat OP, i decided to just cut it out of my life completely. The main reason, like you said, is that once you start you cant stop. This becomes a problem over time if u keep it up and its not worth it. Doing stupid **** is annoying as hell too, i never liked hearing the crap that i did the next day. I dont drink at all anymore and love it, feelin good all the time now.

In the past 2 month period I had exams so I didn't drink at all... it felt great (seriously).

I would love to stop drinking completely, and I think I'm gonna do it. The only issue is friends, they all drink and I don't want to become a hermit that never goes out.

Another fucked up thing that happened is that I started smoking yesterday.... I hadn't smoked for 2 months and was sure I would never do it again, but as soon as I got really drunk....

Dude that's nothing, you're talking stuff everyone does when they're drunk. You just gotta remember other people were drunk so it won't be a big deal.

As for me, last year I went clubbing with my sister and cousin, got smashed, picked up by uncle at 3am, puked all over car, mum and aunty had to clean it all out (this was on holiday). Got piss taken outta me for a few weeks. Well, still do now.

Got headbutted once for talking **** to some guys who apparently went around torching houses, lulz. About 3 years ago I got so drunk before going out, I went to a girl's bday (her family were all there too) and by 9pm... yes, 9pm, I had to get chucked out. My MUM came to pick me up. Ultimate embarrassment. It was good though because it kinda taught me to not drink like a prick in future (except last year on holiday).

-ate pool chalk
-taken a **** on a random persons table
-taken a **** in a public shower
-stolen many itmes (shot glasses, bikes, 5th's, pool balls, hats, air soft guns, etc.)
-ripped out of piece of drywall and used it to sled down the stairs
-gotten naked many times in many places
-punched through a glass window to see if i could, not cause i was pissed. (blood everywhere)
-tried to drive and woke up with my car sideways in a driveway with mayo all over my car
-called people I havn't talked to in years for no reason at 4 am on a tuesday
