**Randy Couture signed a new contract**
Dana White and Randy Couture announced at the post fight press conference that Randy signed a new 28 month 6 fight contract with the UFC. This just made my day

He has done many things for the UFC and is a great fighter......he is just getting to old though. He is really going to need to step up his game in order to compete with these younger guys

He should just lay back and hangout, imo. Does he want to be the Farve of the UFC?
Whatever makes him happy though, right?

i made this same comparison yesterday...
he's a gamer, to be sure... but he's sacrificing his legacy by going out like this. if he could contend again, i'd be on board... IMO, no way is he getting through dudes like velasquez or carwin.
wouldn't mind seeing couture/mir, though.
sigh... where have all the ted williamses gone? something to be said about hittin' the long ball and hangin' 'em up.

He said he was still unsure if he would fight at HW OR LH? I would like to see him fight at LH imo...

LH is too stacked, he'd be better of staying HW where the competition is weak and all he'd have to do is maybe win 2 fights and get another shot at brock

I thought Randy did great against Brock. Randy said he was going to take it one fight at a time like he has always done..

Randy is awesome at LH and can hang pretty good with the HW, So either way I'm excited to see him stay and fight...

I hope he goes as a LHW, the current HW's are BIG, and much more skilled than when he was a champ as Heavy.
The only problem with LHW is there are a LOT of bangers, so he better defend that chin like crazy..haha
Also I would watch Liddel vs Couture 4 (no main event)
