Is this too good to be true for a motorcycle?
Went to the dealership today and they were offering a 2009 kawasaki ninja 250r with 1200 miles on it for $4000 out the door.

i'm a beginner and i know that people who get 250's get tired of them really quick and want more power but price is definitely a factor so i'm just trying to get the best i can for about 4000.

I was in a similar boat, my car basically exploded from me running her to death 160k HARD miles. Also I was moving for a new job and had to commute, so I bought a bike and I wanted to buy outright so price was a huge factor. I love how my 250 looks. Perhaps when I return home next year I'll upgrade. Speed aside I get nothing but compliments. Also, I'm temporarily in Arizona for a year and my bike is my ONLY form of transportation.

Stock photo mine looks the same except I de-badged the "ninja" logo

The 2008+ 250Rs look badass; took Kawasaki long enough to update them... now if they'd only overhaul the 500R

youll get tired of 250 SOOOOOOOO FAST. trust me. first bike was a 600r and i got pretty tired of it.
the best ones out there once you get some experience, is the new bmw crotchrocket. man i drove that thing. IT WAS AMAZING. anyone that ever experienced back pain. didnt happen on this bike. no rumbling noise. just pure power. and it moves soooo smoothly. 1000
