    Protein shake how long after workout?

    I've been taking protein shake 30 minutes after workout. Is this enough? Or should i wait longer/ or take it immediately after workout

    Also, should i consume something along with my protein shake?

    After my protein shake i eat a meal 1hr later.


    Is this plan fine? Or should i switch it up

    as soon as possible, the sooner you take it the sooner it can get to the muscles that need it to recover from thier workout

    also carbs are good for pos-tworkout

    PWO meal should be consumed asap to two hours after your workout.

    i usually drink a dextrose/simple sugar w/ creatine shake right after i workout then wait 15 minutes and drink my protein shake

    an hour or so after i eat my meal

    I usually have a protein shake about 15 minutes after my workout (as long as it takes to drive home at the most), then I take a shower, then I eat a meal.
