keto if your not a bodybuilder?

i personally am, but what results would turn out if you put someone who didn't workout on a keto diet? as surely the protein would not get used.

Non-bodybuilders tend to do straight Atkins and manage to lose weight just fine. There are thousands of wildly successful people on www.lowcarbfriends.com. That's where I started when I lost a ton of weight and came here when I decided to "build a body."

So long as there is a caloric deficit...the extra protein shouldn't pose too much of a problem.

Keto works fine for non bodybuilders, just no carb-ups. If you are not a bodybuilder but do some reasonably intense exercise, you can experiement with TKD, where you eat a small carb meal before and after workouts.

There is a lot of research out there to show that low carb diets tend to be the best for fat loss and overall health.
