You know anything about spy cameras? Serious
I think someone might be stealing from me but I want to catch them in the act. I want to set up a camera, but I dont want to spend a lot to do it. All I need is 1 camera and I would like to hook it up to my PC if possible. I have a video recorder built into my PC if that would help me any.
If you have any experience in this please respond, if you dont please dont.

webcam. you can set the software to record once there is any movement or noise. got mine for $40 and works great.

I got a logitech webcam and the software that came with it has a motion sensor on it. I've tried it, it does work. It will record 30 second clips. and after 30 seconds if there is still movement it will keep recording and save all to a log file.

u can get freeware for ur webcam that u can set to record vids when it senses movement or it can take pics every once in a while.

Yes! The cam was I think $40 at walmart. im sure there is better software out there but if you arent looking to spend a lot of money or make professional movies then it does the job just fine.
Only downside is i have cats that like to push buttons on my keyboard so every time they move in front of my computer it records them. lol
