    Shoulder PAINS HELP

    Im not sure if its my front delt or rotator cuff or both, but for the last 2 weeks when I do BB bench press Ive been getting really sore and stiff in my front right delt.

    I take Glucosamine, Fish Oil and apply Icy/hot before bed nebody have any tips, Ive been working out for almost 10 yrs now and have never had this problem previously.

    This could be a few thing, best idea is to go to the doctor and get an MRI to be 100% sure. In the meantime stop benching and give the upper body a break to see if this helps, ice a few times a day to reduce swelling and take motrin for inflammation.

    Id love to get an MRI, unfortunately I had ACL reconstruction surgery and Im only aloud 3 MRI's a yr so Im stuck until January. I took two days off but still a lil stiffness, Ill wait a couple of more days n hope it will be enough time to heal.

    I'd take a month completely off any movements that aggravate the issue.

    Its on the fringe of hurting and not but Im sure u can sympathize on how difficult it is to stay away from the gym for a WHOLE WEEK.

    Ive had 2 shoulder reconstruction surgeries, currently 3 tears in my right arm ( same one the surgeries were on ) and still not healed. I am trying to avoid surgery due to scar tissue but it
    is inevitable will be going in a few months. the pain is gone unless I use it LOL

    you must give your body time to heal properly or it will just continue to get worse. if it hurts your body is telling you STOP !!!!

    WHOLE MONTH....I'll stick with one week no working out and go from there. I still have bi-weekly visits with my physical therapist for my knee so Ill talk with her. But BB press seems to be the only movements that aggravate it I'll def keep away.

    I obviously dont want it to get worse, I went through a nightmare with my knee and still overcoming the atrophy. I will play safe when it comes to my shoulder.

    Even for the lightest of strains, shoulders take wks to heal. The last thing you want to do is make the injury worse and end up on the OR table. Listen to FNF. I had to rehab a right shoulder impingement for 4 months last yr. 95lb's on the incline felt like 300+. Nasty sharp shooting pain. I know this is not the answer you were looking for but lots of time off from heavy lifting. Do not let your testicles get in the way of proper body care. I did and it set me back 6 months.

    Some good advice in this thread...stop doing movements that cause pain. See a doctor and allow your shoulder to properly heal.
