Matta114's Workout Journal
Just making a workout Journal to record my lifts and hope to gain strength and size by increasing them each workout. Any advice or comments are much appreciated!
Supplements:
Muscle Milk (MRP)
CytoGainer (Post workout, weight gainer, and creatine)
Superpump 250 (Preworkout + creatine)
Sample Diet:
10:30am:
Smoothie (with 40grams whey, banana, milk, organic peanut butter)
Balance Bar
OR
Eggs/Turkey and couple slices of Wheat bread
12:00pm:
Cup of Chicken and Rice (to hold me over while working)
2pm:
Chicken+Rice Bowl (3 scoops whole grain rice, alot of chicken, avocado, and veggies, etc)
3:30pm: (Preworkout):
2 Scoops of SuperPump250
5:30pm: (Postworkout):
3 Scoops of CytoGainer (in Milk)
7:00pm:
Giant Chicken Wrap (Whole Grain wrap, rice, veggies, avocado etc)
9:30pm:
Turkey Sandwich
and alot of water through out the day!!!
Basically my diet consists of Several meals (to keep metabolism up) filled with LEAN protein, whole grain carbs, fiber, and healthy unsaturated fats so I can bulk and stay lean as well.

Switch off between Workout A and B, lifting on Monday/Wednesday/Friday
Variations:
Monday: 5x5
Wednesday:4x5
Friday: 3x5 - 1x3 - 1x8
Workout A:
Flat Bench (Push)
Rows (Pull)
Squats (Push)
3x6 Upright Rows (Pull)
Assistance (Giant Set): Chins / Dips / Calf Raises
Workout B:
Military Press (Push)
Weighted Pullups (Pull)
3x6 Incline DB Press (Push)
Deadlifts (Pull)
Assistance (Giant Set): Curls / Skullcrushers / Calf Raises
Tuesday / Thursday / Saturday:
Cardio / Abs
Sunday:
OFF

Bench is good, everything else needs work

"i dont know man i try to maintain low bw and gain stregth because what good is stregth if your using half of it to move your body. high stregth plus low body weight equals intense explosion. i think a guy like irish kid or gray horse would mess bs up in a fight due to kickness and probably better punch stregth explosion. i still wouldnt wanna fight bser though hed wreck me due to the size advantage and my legs arent up to par to make me a stregth conter" Sickonstorm

Awsome bench, i've only hit that for 2 reps  lol. Squats at least are moving slightly forward.

Finished my strength program last week and started a new 5 day hypertrophy split. Not worth recording numbers, so will be back here in a few months once I get back on a strength program!
