    When I drink alchohol i wake up early the next morning...

    Why is this? Anytime I go out and drink with some friends, the next morning I wake up early and feel kinda energized.. yes a little hungover but cant sleep any longer. I like it because on normal days I sleep and sleep until I have to wake up for work atl ike 1 pm but today I woke up at 10 am it felt good.

    Anyone know why is this and if theres anything I can drink or eat that is healthy at night to wake me up energized?

    I'm the exact same way dude. I have no idea why it is, I can drink a ****load the night before and I will wake up wide awake at like 7:30-8. I have like a reverse hangover, I'll wake up super energized and feeling great.

    But no I have no idea why it happens.

    no idea. I feel great off 6 or 7 hours sleep if I was drunk the night before, but if I was sober, 6-7 hours ill wake up groggy as hell. It's pretty awesome actually.... pound a few glasses of water and hit the weights

    I think its just the excess of calories that you consumed that makes you feel so energized and not tired. idk just taking a guess.

    Same with me, I can go out and drink until 2-4 am but wake up at 8-9 am without a problem. But if I go to sleep sober at like 2 am, I'll still be tired when I wake up at 10-11 am.

    Any of you also noticed this change from highschool? In highschool if I drank, I slept till noon the next day. Now, I'll wake up at something ridiculous like 6am and have anxiety the whole next day.

    sheeeiit im the other way around. i would always wake up much earlier in highschool. now that im in college i try to drink a **** load of water when i get home and pop a multi. usually makes things easier the next morning. if i dont down 3-4 glasses of water, ill wake up around 5 or 6 with a mouth dryer then the desert

    Everyone is different, but I know some of my friends that are kind of like you and wake up early after nights out and feel energized. I'm definitely not like that.

    It has to be the extra calories that does that for you. Maybe you feel the energy the extra calories provide more than the actually after-effects of the alcohol, which is a good thing for you.

    ME TOO! Wake up super early. On edge-- anxiety, anxious, depressed the next day. Dang its strange. I thought it had something to do with the mixers (used to drink energy drinks with alcohol) but it happens no matter what I have-- beer, wine etc...

    yep I'm the same way but for some reason, most of my friends manage to sleep late the next day. I have no idea how they do it. I dont feel super energized when i wake up that early though, i just feel kinda tired

    I too can never sleep very long after hitting the bottle, and I'm the same way with the anxiety and jitters. It sorta blows balls I usually don't feel too tired, but I always feel just anxious, and if I have any caffeinated drinks besides coffee they really mess me up: short of breath, blurred vision, dizziness, and sometimes nausea. All in all I never have good hangovers.

    Same for me. I generally go to the gym and run (while drinking a bunch of water). Go home and can crash hard on the couch.

    Of course, that assumes I didnt didn't drink so much that I can't move.
