It also kind of feels like I could let out a little scream too, but I never do, and I usually hold my breath while it happens. It's not a bad feeling though, it actually feels kind of good.

I think I have this while listening to music or when I'm pumped up or excited about something. It's an incredible burst of energy and I feel like I could jump ten feet in the air.
Not like a panic attack though, it feels good.
Is that what op is talking about? Because otherwise I have no clue...

I know what ur talkin about bud. Its really hard to explain to those who dont know. I guess one way of kinda half-ass describing it is the tingling you get after your arm or leg falls asleep.
Haha, heres a fun fact: mine only happen on the right side of my head. Its gotta be a brain thing.

Yeh, I'm pretty sure that's what he's talking about. I've just never gotten it from like giving something to someone or anything like that. It usually has more to do with exercise, listening to music, watching a scene in a movie that really gets me pumped (like the rocky training montages for instance), and just different stuff like that in general. It also kinda seems like that feeling that I would get, and assume most kids did, when I would wake up on Christmas morning.

i know exactly what you're talking about. i usualy call it chills, and it's hard to say where it comes from, it's either your crown, or that little bump in the back of your head. when i'm watching a movie with my girlfriend, or listening to music with her and this happens, she'll comment on "me having goosebumps" - whether or not it's really this IDK
you can induce them on yourself too. this is the single thing that i want most in this world, is the ability to be able to control it better and have it flow through me without stopping. music helps with inducing them if it's like the climax of a good instrumental/techno song for me. but i can do it right now even, just like - it's hard to explain how to do it. it involves my shoulder muscles (traps) sometimes if i'm trying to induce it too hard.
interesting point : in the yogic (pantjali's yoga) philosophy, there's a chakra RIGHT where it comes in at the back of the head. it's suposed to be the 'mouth of god' where spiritual energy comes in. to me, this is spiritual energy. you open yourself up to it and IMO can send it to others if you like, or whatever. but IMO it's very healing [and feels amazing too]
to those that don't really understand - it's basically teh feeling when you get chills down your spine when something awes you, or anything along those lines.
another interesting point - i was with my family at church on easter a few years back and it was packed - alot more than normal, and they started this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8z2XLZjKYQ and the whole time before this service i had been letting the chills roll to the best of my ability (they always stop at a certain point, and i've learned that i'm what gets in the way, it's hard to say, it's very subtle but this energy can't flow with certain vibes of thoughts - ) anyways, i'm letting the chills roll, happy for how happy the praise leader with the guitar is that everybody's so into the music. chills are rolling, and then it gets to the part in the song (2:08 in the youtube video) where all the music stops except for the drums and the singing - a few people shouted with joy, and this was enough to send me past the normal trickle of chills into a state i've not tasted since then - FREE FLOWING energy just RUSHING through my body, like 10 million watts, it was like being illuminated, and it was hands down the most enjoyable feeling i've ever experienced. it lasted maybe 5-6 seconds, and went back down to the normal level of chills which eventually, too died out but what it showed to me was that there's a state further than the normal chills/"head orgasm" than i'm used to.
that being said, my understanding is this : it's an astral phenomena. indian(many others as well) philosophy is this: you have three bodies. your physical body, with it's pleasures (best being an orgasm, i guess? or a great body high, or something), and you have the astral body of emotions and bliss and what not, and further than that you have your causal body of thought - i can't say much about it. further than the causal body is godhead, where you're at one with god and all creation.
anyways, what i'm trying to say is that i've learned that head orgasm is an astral response to a causal thought process - it CAN happen when i'm doing something nice, or feeling really motivated by a great speech or a great song, or it might not happen from those. it's a response. some people would have called their experience at church had that happened to them "being touched by the holy ghost," or something like that, but to me it's astral phonomena - it's possible for me to reach those heights again. i've learned that my ability to experience this is intimately connected with concentration/meditation. the more i practice one pointed meditation, the more i'm able to focus and keep that sensation flowing through me.
anyways, that being said i still have to remind myself of a few things lest i get carried away chasing another state experience : this might take a little imagination for some of you guys, and this is explained much better in chapter 43 of autobiography of a yogi ( http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/7452), but
physical, astral, causal - three realms of existence. as long as you have physical karma or desires, you'll be coming back to the physical to finish them up. still craving for sensory experience/still maintaining lower gross [opposite of subtle] forms of desire, you'll be reborn in the human (or lower) body. (life for ~100 years or so)
from the astral, everything in the physical is more or less repulsive - physical orgasm is seen as a miniscule pleasure as compared to bathing in the light/joy of god. as long as you have desires for these types of manifestations of love and bliss, you'll be coming back here for rebirth if all your lower desire/karma has been dealt with. ( life for couple hundred, into couple of thousands of years)
from the causal, everything in the astral luminaries and the physical universes PALE in insignifigance to the vast expanse of the super subtle realm of the causal where beings are but a thin veil away from god. beings have unlimited power here, creating whole universes just for sheer joy or to figure something out - VAST blissful knowledge expands here, and it is only when these desires/karmas are dealt with that one sheds all outer bodies and merges with the source - the void - the vast emptiness that is godhead, that which is at the center of all creation and the deepest part of anyone. this is what is meant behind ' you are god ' in the hindu/other traditions. (life on causal can be thousands of years and more)
my point was is that although these head orgasms are great, they're still but a link on the chain. that chain extends upwards for QUITE a long time, and i've been reminded constantly in reading buddhist things lately, that no matter how high one ascends in the heavens, this is still within samsara/maya and is subject to delusion and is incomplete and ridden with suffering. although gods in the causal may enjoy hundreds of thousands of years of bliss, they're still subject to the laws of cause and effect which will eventually bring them to the lower forms of existence. this is the idea behind meditation - by focusing on one thing, and developing that practice to hold concentration which develops and flows into effortless holding of that object, which is meditation, which flows into samadhi/nirvana, you release yourself from dualistic perspectives. you don't have to die in order to experience the astral/causal, either - i'll leave this there.
little sidetracked, but there's a lot of background to be given.
another good account of first hand experience of ascending into godhead: http://www.near-death.com/experience...rnation04.html that site has lots of good near-death experiences which can help you understand a bit more. it helped me motivate myself to change myself because of how bad people felt when they looked at how they lived their lives so selfishly
cliffs : chills are subtle energy
you can let this energy flow through you
there is more to be discovered

for some reason when a person gives me advice on life or something important i completely zone out and i forget what they are saying and i start thinking "damn this feels amazing i hope he/she doesnt stop talking" and if they are about to stop ill ask them another question just to keep this feeling flowing a little longer.

I used to get that feeling when I listened to people talk or read stories, if they had a certain tone to their voice.

At first I had no idea what the OP was talking about, but I know exactly the feeling! Happens are work all the time when someone has a really soothing voice or demeanor, etc. Its weird, feels like you're in a really nice daze, really relaxed, happy.
