    Cycling off caffeine

Like most americans I've been drinking caffeinated products for god knows how long. Last year before school I drank a cup of tea daily, mostly for the antioxidants. I don't really fell the effects of caffeine any more and haven't for years.

The last 2 PWO supplements I sampled, white flood and overdose, didn't affect me at all.

I figure since it's summer and I get plenty of sleep I don't really need to bother with it, I'm going to cut caffeine for a bit. So how long should I stay off any source of caffeine to lower my tolerance again?

Have you tried it yourself? I know people cycle off NO products because they start having to take 3 scoops to feel it. But they seem to take a week or 2.

I find my caffeine tolerance is the same as that of my THC tolerance. If I take a week off of caffeine, I feel it better, just like with THC.

Though, the longer you're off it, the more sensitive you'll be when you come back to it. Be prepared to have some symptoms of withdrawal when you quit.

Makes sense. I've already been taking a few days off. I don't really think I was that addicted to caffeine. No real withdrawl symptoms. It's just so commonly consumed here and there in a coke, or some iced tea that my tolerance built up after years of it.

I'll try a month or so. Hopefully I feel it a ton and can use it for pre-workouts.

    Thanks.

If you have a tolerance to it, you have an addiction to it. Your brain has caffeine receptors in it, much like it has nicotene receptors. The typical symptoms are headaches and irratibility, much like that of nicotene.
