    Cutting down after a bulk

i just finished my long term bulking phase. Started in winter at 140, now im 175 lbs. Now i need to fix my diet to return to my deep cut body, but i dont wanna lose any of the muscle i've worked so hard to put on.

this is my diet right now

    breakfast - peanut butter

lunch - chicken, wheat bread w/ marg.

    pre w.o. - peanut butter

    post w.o. - 3 scoop weight gainer

dinner - either chicken fish or steak with veggies, rice

pre bed - 4 scoop weight gainer

i assume the weight gainers will have to go, but i really dont wanna lose any weight, i wanna maintain my weight at 174 (more or less) and just take take the rest of the fat out of my stomach

right now im on Lean Xtreme, because i know that is a body composition formula instead of a weight loss formula so i thought i was good.

Oh, hey there fellow 5'8" 175 human, lol.

Any who, some questions first (will be able to help you then):

    - Do you count your calories? (this will make or break you in cutting)

    - Do you know what your maintenance level of calories is?

    - Do you know how many grams of protein per day you are taking in?

ah i wish i was more careful with counting i'll do it now..

    breakfast - 400

    lunch - around 700-800?

    pre w.o. - 300

    post w.o. - 600

    dinner - 800-1000

    pre bed - 800

    == just under 4000 calories

i would say i maintenance around 2500+ because my metabolism is so fast

and for protein during my bulk i'll be around 200 more or less

Try a 50/30/20 percentile ratio of your protein/carbs/fats. Its generally told around here that having less than 20% fat is fairly unhealthy.

    I'm bulking soon.

I cycle carbs, that's a lot of carbs for a keto/atkins/pre-contest cut to name a couple..

I go as low as 30g, including dietary fibre so i'm probably only getting in 20g a day, then Icarb up on sunday

Why are you taking a ****ing weight gainer on a cut? lawl probably the dumbest thing ive heard next to people asking for spots on the smith machine....

Take the weight gainer out, take the peanut butter out. Add a lot more fish.... 175g carb for a cut is not very good at all. You want to limit carbs as much as possible and eat a whole bunch of healthy fats along with lean proteinz.

    Add:

    Tuna
    Salmon
    Tilapia
    Grilled Chicken
    Turkey
    Almonds
    Brown Rice pre-workout
    Broccoli
    Spinach
    Some fruits
A whole **** load more vegetables

Take the stupid weight gainer out. Weight gainers are meant for weak ectos on a bulk trying to gain mass as quickly as possible. You dont need/want a weight gainer right now. Your cutting

Instead, get a good brand of Whey protein and use that as a supplement 2 times a day. Whey protein is a lot less calories-maybe like 130 for a scoop, with a good amount of protein. Also, invest in a good Creatine product. Drink plenty of water.

Also, invest in a casein supplement and drink this BEFORE bed

ok man.. i really dont think the weight gainer is stupid while i still have some around after my bulk.. its low fat, high carb and protein.. i take half a serving and then mix it with my zero carb isopure.

    my daily grams are fat : 50's protein : 225-235 carbs : 150+
so my ratios are right in line with a contest prep diet. and to repeat myself from before.. i'm lactose intolerant, i cant have whey or casein..
and i have a migraine problem that wont allow me to take in creatine supps.

When the rest of my weight gainer is takin out, i will replace it with oatmeal and wheat bread with margirine for some more fat.
