Okay, so this is the deal(im a guy btw). My hair is naturally curly, and Ive been letting it grow for 5 months
Anyway, my hair is looks kinda like an afro(in the way that its starting to increase in height). To compensate, Ive been using Ice Gel.
However, the more my hair grows, the more its starting to look uneven. like when I first wet my hair, and put gel it will stay for a while, but then some hair will start to pop out. As such it's starting to look uneven.
So I was wondering, what are some good products/ways to keep my hair slick back? Without hair popping out? The gel was working for awhile, but since my hair keeps growing its starting to be less and less useful.

Its usually when I first start putting it on my wet hair, that some of my hair starts popping out randomly.
It's even worse on the hair on the back of my head. Instead of just staying down when I put the gel on the back, it just randomly starts popping out into hard curls.
Also, could the fact that my hair is naturally curly, be a problem as to why parts of it keep sticking out?

use extra strength gel or hairspray, and use a hair dryer while putting it in your hair

Cut your jewfro off lol. or a really easy way to make your hair straight is use a flat iron straightner? youll have normal hair if u turn that thing on 500 degrees than you could go buy urself some beeswax at walmart for 2$ and do a fohawk like meh and get bishes.
