I think it's best done at the end of a chest session; you get a good stretch out.

Awesome i do it ever chest day, nothing gives me a better chest pump than doing a few sets of these, i find it relly thickens the chest, also aparently it widens the rib cage to some extent. Weather thats bro science or no i dont know?
But yes pull overs are ultimate.

absolute favorite thing to do. It may seem counter productive but I do them eery workout. I put a different emphasis depending on what I am training that day. i.e chest back etc.( across bench, along the bench, DB's BB's, cables)
But I do them SS with chest, back, Abbs, and on squat days too. Doing sets of 20 on squats, while focusing on taking big deep breaths each rep--then doing 20 reps on the pullovers, I was sweating like a hoss and my torso feels blown up.. Got my heart rate up, and felt like a cardio.
pullover 10/10 rating

I like them on a decline on lat day, and on an incline for chest day. Great pre-stretch on both, made even better the straighter you keep your arms (the more bend in your elbows, the more you emphasize triceps).
I'll hold my final rep in the stretch position for as long as possible. Perfect for ending that muscle group.

Thought I was the only one that did them declined. Feel much more in the targeted muscle group that way (chest or lats).
I imagine pulling the weight through the rom if it's lat I'm emphasizing. Or pushing the weight through the rom if it's chest I'm after. Good point about the elbow bend. The more it's bent - the more the tris take over.

Don't have a favorite exercise, smart ass!
Just pointing out the unnecessary immaturity of your response.
