Who Deserves to Play More? Favre or Vick?
I have read how a large percentage of bb.com sports forum members want to see Vick get his chance to play. Most of the same percent hope Favre gets injured so bad that never can never play again or others have wished death upon him. Do you honestly think what Favre has done is worse than what Vick has done?
Inb4 poll.

I would much rather Vick play.
Both guys suck, but at least Vick breaks off some highlight reel stuff and pisses off PETA dorks.
Favre just intentionally brings drama and is a complete and total media whore.
Obviously both deserve to be on teams, but neither deserve to play, as McNabb > Vick and Jackson/Sage > Favre.

No offense but this is a stupid question. It's Favre by a mile and this is coming from a Favre hater(even before his bull**** i'm retiring, wait no i'm not...no seriously oh wait no....)
It has nothing to do with Favre's bogus back and forth or Vick's dog killing.
Favre is a HOF qb and Vick is a guy who has trouble hitting the side of a barn. Vick is a great qb for a team running the wildcat but he's no starting QB. Everyone gets a hardon for his rushing abilities and his cannon for an arm...but it doesn't matter how hard you can throw if you can't hit your receivers and it doesnt' matter how fast you run if you're the QB and you don't throw the ball.

Not a stupid in regards to life outside of football. It shows how messed our society has become in regards to morals. Wishing Favre death on the field but shedding tears for Vick to continue playing in the NFL? Doesn't make sense to me.

The question posed was "who deserves to play more".
If they win the job, the both "deserve" to play.
If they are handed jobs in front of other people based on name alone, then no.
And what the **** does being a felon have to do with football? It doesn't. If Vick is good enough to perform well at this level, then he deserves to play.
As far as people hating Favre more, maybe it's because he has had nonstop coverage for his attention whoring for the last 3 years. It's not a matter of criminal vs. brat, it's a matter of one being absurdly annoying.

Well they both deserve to play, but who deserves it MORE? Favre did nothing illegal that warrants suspension time, so that question answers itself...

Vick. He has served his time and needs to get back out on the Field.
Favre is a drama queen, who doesnt know when to call it quits. He also tips off reporters/the news when hes working out at high schools so he can get media attention. All he cares about is extending his personal records, cause he knows that one day almost all of them will belong to Brady or Manning.

Vick. While he did go to federal prison for abusing animals, at least he didn't retire 15 times and cry like a baby to the media each time.

Some people just want to see athletes perform on the field. Vick served his sentence and now he's free. If you want to criticize his sentence for being too lenient that's fine, but he served what he was given.

I can understand why people would choose the option they don't care what happpens outside of football. How else would Devon Hester remain eligible at Miami when English is his second language? I say that because if you listen to interviews, he obviously isn't fluent in the language.
With that said...it shocks me that people think what Favre has done is much worse than what Vick has done. Members ARE saying that from a morals point of view.

I think purely as a football fan, fans have been through this crap with Favre so many times before. Vick's been out of the league for 2 years now. If he can play, fans want to see him try and better a team. In terms of the sport itself, Favre's dominated the headlines each of the past 2 offseasons. I think people are just sick of it.

From a pure football perspective I can see that. The thing is, they aren't speaking from a pure football perspective when they wish death or severe injury upon Favre but shed tears for Vick being able to display his talents. That is speaking from emotions. IMO, that is very twisted when you think a waffling athlete is worse than a felon.

I had a few older members pm shocked at at moral decay of some of the younger members so that's why I really started the thread. To find out those members reasons for such an extreme reaction.
In regards to the poll, I realize one vote was due to the dislike of me and another one was based off of race.

Both deserve to play. As much as a dck thing as Vick did he served his time and if a team wanted him so be it.
Favre, leave the guy alone. He loves the sport and is clearly undecided about retiring. Gotta give him credit still in the game at his age.

I never wish ill will on anyone. It would be cool if Brett does well but I'll be embarrassed for him if he flops which I suspect he will.
Mike Vick has done his time, too much in my opinion. Let him play.
