semi rural/semi urban > rural or urban. good to live in a place that has a good medium. i can live without malls and what not here. we've got a wal mart wich will do. though i would like a best buy with a giant wall dedicated to just guitars (saw one in anchorage, it was beautiful). but in a smaller town such as the one i live in, u dont have to put up with so many *******s, not as many creeps n ****. but the downside is that it is indeed a small town and word travells extremely quick and alot of people know eachother.

Even though I don't live in a big city, I do live in a city, yet have spent many times in country, I can't stand it. It's alright for a while, but too quiet/**** all to do.

idk the fact that im near women a lot and that i can walk down the street to get fashionable clothes, or 3 blocks to go to universal, or 1 block to go to the gym, makes me prefer the city life

It is really too bad that with the inevitable systemic collapse given global gyrations in the economy (complete collapse), natural resources (peak oil), and technological super empowerment of the individual will cause cities to be almost uninhabitable for a time. Your best bet is with the rural community, or atleast a place where you can create enough sustenance for yourself energy and food wise before things really really bad. You need a lead time into things like this, if you don't plan ahead you get caught in the crash consider yourself toast.
