Hello
Not sure if this is the right section but here goes. I have been working out for the last 2 months every other day. As a beginner i'm just wondering if this is a good pace of gains for a beginner. I normally notice that after every 1-2 sessions i can lift more/more reps each time for a specific exercise. For example on sunday I could do 6 reps to failure of one arm overhead tricep extensions and today's workout i could do 7 reps to failure at the same weight. It's a similar pattern for most of my exercises. for a beginner is this good pace? I keep good track of what I eat weighing everything and not forgetting to count cooking oils, seasonings etc, should I just eat as I normally do or scale back the calories a little. Unfortunately I am at uni so i cannot weigh myself but I've ordered some tape measure so I will start tracking my measurements.
Thanks

If you look at a program like Fierce Five, it increases weight every week/other week depending on the exercises. Starting Strength increases the weight every workout. It's pretty typical for a beginner to experience these kind of gains.
