    Cortisol lowering supplements

I have problems with easily overtraining. I know all the natural ways to lower cortisol and I'm doing them. However I want to add a good supplement that will block/lower cortisol levels. Anyone know of any good ones?

    Thanks

driven sports' lean xtreme and primordial performance's endoamp are two viable options.

i can't speak to LX, but here's the product write-up for endoamp, as well as a discussion in the supp/sci section if you'd like to learn more.

there are a few ways to naturally and safely lower your cortisol through diet, lifestyle, and supplements but out of the things you are looking for i would recommend Lean Xtreme.

I have always gone with the recommended dose. I believe 3/day. If the joints get sore drop down to 2/day.

Has nothing to with cortisol. You have other SNS and PNS issues to fix.

Lean FX and Lean Xtreme are your too best options. Both have great feedback from members that have tried it before, you really cant go wrong with either. Though they are a bit diffrent in there effects, both controll cortisol very effeciently though Lean Xtreme also contains Green Tea Extract and Forslean, which should definitly add a solid leaning effect. Lean FX helps to control appetite through the use of Cha De Burge and helps to increase blood ratio of DHEA:Cortisol. Cant go wrong with either, try one take a couple weeks off and give the other one a go, that way you can see which you like better for future runs.

And yes, overtraining is very real. That term can be used to explain lack of sleep, food intake, or any variable that is thrown off. When training becomes an absolute chore because of how you feel, its time to sleep more or take a week off.

yeah i did some searching and couldn't find much on sns and pns. I workout 4 days per week, 1 hour per day. I always lift heavy, HIT, and 12-16 sets, 18 max. I get 7 hours sleep, and eat as much as i can(fairly clean diet).

I wouldn't think this would lead to overtraining but it has, i have all the symptoms. I've overtrained before, had a 24 hour saliva cortisol test done, and sure enough my cortisol levels were all high. I feel the same now as i did then. I had to take like 2-3 weeks off before i felt "normal" again.

i can't speak to LX, but here's the product write-up for endoamp, as well as a discussion in the supp/sci section if you'd like to learn more.
    EndoAMP has gotten rave reviews.

It's not spoken of a lot on this board but Primordials' products go above and beyond.

The ENTIRE PP product listing is something I want to try.

I also think PP has one of the best TRS stacks out there.

    Agreed!

I know I am a rep for Pp, but EndoAmp is one of my favorite products of all the dozens of products I use on a regular basis. My training is better, my recovery and strength are higher, my brain is better... everything seems better when I am using it. I notice when I do not use it as well. It's alongside SAMe as an important staple for me.

I've been using SAMe and CoQ10 over the past few months and I've never felt better.

I'm about to add Boswellia Serrata to that list. If I had just PMed you 3 years back and asked what you used, I would have saved a lot of money

    lol.

I also enjoy CoQ10. Another awesome staple. Currently I get most of my Boswellia from AOR's Advanced Joint Support. Yet another amazing formula imo.

SAMe may have changed my life... from the time I began taking it, I really got myself together and moving forward with life. For me, SAMe encourages motivation and a source of energy, kinda like a morning cup of coffee, but something much better. I don't know how to explain it or if it is just placebo... I highly doubt it, but even if it was I won't stop it.
