ENTRY: Super Cissus Rx

I love to go heavy on lifts because I feel powerful. Every time I step foot in the gym, the encounter between the weights and myself is inevitable. It is a fierce battle, where a man's ego is sometimes his biggest downfall. I have succeeded many times, triumphed over the weights; however, I have also failed. I have been stapled, mangled and completely annihilated by the weights to the point of injury. The constant tension and pressure on the joints is, therefore, something I have to deal with on a daily basis. After a while, my bones start to feel like sand, purely eroded rock; evidently, from the constant wear and tear of weightlifting. I have been dealing with a sore shoulder and knees for months. Even though MSM, Chondroitin, Shark Cartilage and Glucosamine are great together, and have helped me overcome some injuries (along with rest and proper treatment); they still have some undesirable adverse effects. For example, every time I consume a supplement with an MSM compound, I feel lethargic, nauseous and bloated for hours after I have taken it. I really like to experiment with new supplements because the key to finding "that perfect supplement" is trial and error. No review or advertisement can surely indicate whether the compound is effective. Sure, multiple studies with randomized patients may show some correlation, but as we learned in elementary statistics, this doesn't prove causation with the general population. For that reason, I am sometimes more than happy to spend my money looking for that alternative, because one day I may find that "staple" supplement. For a multi-vitamin and creatine product, I have already been successful. However, with a joint/tendon formula, I am still looking around. I have never tried a cissus product and cannot assess the validity of people's opinion here on the forums (even though it is a rather popular product with powerlifters) so I would be honored to test SuperCissus Rx. I also noted in the original post that there is an anabolic side to Cissus (I learn something every day) which beefs up the ligaments and tendons in order to withstand more resistance from the daily beatdowns at the gym. In conclusion, I am extremely interested in this product and I am hoping for the best in order to get picked.

I have attached an application also:

Ive used all versions with great success as well as bulk cissus. Prolly the best joint supplement Ive used. I have yet to test its anabolic capabilities but it would be interesting. I will be using it either way for my up coming bulk cycle. I may try to mega dose it for both benefits!!!

At almost 45 yrs old, I have noticed the need for constantly increasing dosages of Glucosamine and MSM (2000mg & 3000mg respectively)
I have gone really heavy, with a 550lb squat max, 1510lb leg press (stupid personal goal), and rack deads of 765 for reps.
With these dumbass weights I move, sometimes you can imagine, given my slight frame, that I tend to have joint issues. (I know, "lighten the weight moron", cannot help myself, just because I can doesn't mean I should, but I do)
Having gone through a recent spate of mild injuries and a nasty cold, I am struggling with the pressures of increasing the weights back to where they were.
The added gluc and MSM help, but cissus tends to really make a huge difference. Unfortunately, with two tuition payments, it tends to get left off the orders.
Coming back like I am now, I'd really like to see what difference it helps make in recovery.
Oh yea, I've got the added detriment of being on HRT too. So that's hampering recovery.
I've tried several Cissus products, with only two working for me in the past, your's being one of them.
I'd love to give it another run.

I'll keep this short and sweet...

Ive had ankle problems for the past 8 years of my life *tendon and ligament tears* and finally this past january had to go and have full reconstructive surgery on it. Now, Im still not 100%, and i probably never will be, but even after this surgery, i am still have some problems, with swelling and sprains, and the docs basically told me there was not going to be another cure, other than more surgeries. Well i think its complete B.S.

Why would Cissus be good for me? Pretty straight forward, i have tendon/ligament issues, cissus can help with those. Love to see if the stuff can A. Get me back on track B. keep me out of the operating room for a long long time.

I'm in. I am 26 years old and have an autoimmune disease called Ankylosing Spondylitis. I have been talking to my doctors about taking Cissus and there is no reason I shouldn't take it. I have had a lot of issues with my wrists, shoulders, and spine. I am very active and lift 5-6 days a week. I think I would be an excellent candidate to show the true effect of Cissus. thank you for your consideration

At what dosage where you using it before? As it stands i am using 3 capsules daily(1 in the AM and 2 before bed) and getting good results from it for the joints.

having had this, supplements may slightly help mask the pain, but you must figure out what is causing it/continuing to aggravate it, and fix the problem, supplements will probably NOT make it go away completely, especially if it's been a year
I had to buy really good walking shoes, and wear them everyday. if I went one day with hard soled work shoes, I was aching for a week afterward.
Took almost a full year to stop hurting.
I wear running shoes in the house and out and about, and walking shoes at work (Brooks Addiction Walkers)
You MUST wear cushioned shoes all the time when walking on hard floors or it won't get better

The SuperCissus is the best i have used. Anyone using it at 3-4 caps daily should see excellent results and with pain free joints. Glad you liked the product buddy.

Yeah it suck doesn't it? I have an appointment with the podiatrist coming up. I always where good shoes with good insoles and even wear sandals in the shower. What a **** this thing is. I think it has something to do with being heavy. I havent done anything for the last two weeks and no improvement. And when I say I haven't done anything I mean nothing.

I added SuperCissus to my regimen close to when it first came out and hasn't left my lineup since. I like the fact that it was the first of its kind, and I'm the type to support the original source.

I'd jump all over this but already have some on hand.

hey man, so I was wondering if you could post a copy of the patent since the USPTO site doesn't seem to have the number you listed on there. It would be awesome to check it out! Also, congrats with all the hugely successful products recently, Jack3d is another big winner.

Also, what does this mean for other companies such as primaforce that sell similar geared Cissus products?

Thanks in advance for the answers! USP FTW

At the age of 14 I suffered a herniated disc while training for football. Now, at age 25, after gaining and losing over 100lbs, I'm in the best shape of my life but my old injury still nags me. I have a pinched L5S1 nerve still that constantly gives me horrible cramps down my right leg and blocked my Achilles Reflex in my right heel. The injury wakes me up at least once a night with a horrible cramp. The injury also will sneak up on me when I use improper form in the gym. I've been taking glucosamine/ chondroitin to help with the swelling/bulging of the disk but to no avail. Only $$$ steroid shots have significantly reduced swelling, as well as lower back massages...again $$$.

Apart from putting all my information down, here is my experience.
I was playing soccer the day before labor day last year, I had been defending on another guy with the ball and turned one way and then the other, Heard a crack and fell down instantly (Tore ACL). While the guys helped me get to the sidelines, a buddy was trying to stretch my leg out, thought I was good to go, wanted to get back in quick and since this was just a game of friends I thought I'd go in goal to see if it will get better. I blocked a shot and when I went to kick the ball, my leg just went straight out from underneath me! (Doc said that's when I tore the Meniscus). Didn't have surgery until this March, have been slowly recovering and its been 5 months since the ACL reconstruction and Meniscus repair surgery. I started doing cardio 3 months after surgery (I was on cruches for 5 weeks) and my ligaments are hurting, Although my leg is still recovering and getting better, I have started running 3 weeks ago but my leg still bothers me. There is better day as I'm sure anyone on here who's had a surgery knows, but the bad ones are painful. When I sit at a desk too long and get up, everything in my knee joints cracks and my ligaments need about a minute of walking before I feel stabalized and confident I can walk. Still have that thought in the back of my mind about my leg going out from underneath me out to my left SIDE! OUCH!, That thought is there pretty much with every step I take and feel something in my knee joints and ligaments.

Took activjoint with glucosamine/ chondroitin from the 6 samples that I got from BB.com but it hasn't helped at all so never persued anything similar with those ingredients.

As i get older, it seems like more parts are creaking. Even though i'm extra careful, sometimes it just gets you on the bodypart(s) that you least expect. For example, i no longer do reverse barbell curls - came down with a case of 'golfer's elbow'. Another one is seated overhead triceps dumbell extentions - left elbow hurt a couple years back and now makes a crackling sound even with no weight.

My most annoying one is ITBS(Iliotibial band syndrome). Read about it here: http://orthopedics.about.com/cs/spor...ine/a/itbs.htm. I have this one on both my knees. Its on the outside and it tightens up pretty bad so i need to stretch it and apply creams often. It just surfaced one day after tennis. The side-to-side movement from tennis was the cause.

In general i lift rather light now, for fear i might aggravate or find something new to nurse. I've used and tried quite a bit of stuff. Chinese medicine, rubs, creams, different types of fishoils, glucosamine, msm, collagen, chondroitin etc. One thing i've never tried yet is cissus. Not looking for miracles but i definitely believe there must be something out there that can alleviate or diminish these bothersome things. If it works i'll be a fan for life and will recommend to all the baby boomers i know who experience similar.

I want to test the 2 perks of Super Cissus Rx.
1. The therapeutic side (helps with injury also a great preventative)

This best describes me...in a nut shell.

Although I'm very active now a few years ago I couldn't do much of anything. I was violently sidelined on June 24th, 2002 when a freight train going 60 mph smacked into a box truck a buddy and I were in. He was driving, killed on impact, I was riding passenger where the train hit initially 4 feet behind me knocking me out of my shirt, shoes, and my skin damn near.

Anyway, my whole right side was crushed and this included my back in two places. Needless to say I have wickedly painful chronic acute tendonitis and arthritus. I would really like the chance to try out your product and see if some of the pain and swelling will subside.

There's no pain that can hold me down....I've been walking, running, jumping for a few years now...God Bless!
