Lose fat and gain strength?

I know you can't lose fat and gain muscle mass at the same time, but is it possible to gain strength and lose fat? I understand it's going to be limited, but possible none the less?

You can gain muscle mass and lose fat at the same time, it is just very hard. Being out of shape (noob gains), steroids, very slight deficit, great genetics, etc can all help you build muscle while losing fat.

It's very possible, I did it and trust me it can't be that hard if I did it but it was noob gains for me. I lost 40 Lbs a year ago then I started lifting in December at 195Lbs, two weeks ago I took new pictures at 192-3 Lbs and it was very easy to tell that I have added muscle while losing fat. I have a ways to go but during this time all my lifts went up a ton, I lifted as heavy as I could and did 0 cardio.

So it is possible depending on your current level of fitness or what supplements you use to get there.
