New rap beats

Am I crazy, or does all the new rap beats sound so like ****. I can't really put into words what I mean, but I feel like a lot of the new beats are so synthesized or made to be a club hit. I just feel like I can't get into or like these new sounds. This probably makes no sense and I'm crazy, but oh well.
