Jailbreaking an Itouch? (Reps)
I've heard that jailbreaking your Itouch allows you to move/delete the stock apps. I need a little more room on my Itouch and am considering jailbreaking it to delete the apps I don't want
Does anyone know how to jailbreak an Itouch? And is it risky to do it?

don't you simply have to press your thumb on an app for 2-3 seconds for the "x" to come up? you can then delete the app. to exit, press the home button.

I don't think you're jailbreaking for the right reason, you lose some stuff but also have to add some stuff, I don't know if you'll end up with more space. It's pretty easy to do, what generation is your ipod? (1 or 2)? Let me know and I will post some links. Jailbreaking is not risky at all, easy to undo, and adds a ****ton of functionality.

Can't do that with the preloaded apps.

Exactly...and that's why OP asked this question. I am trying to help my niece clean up her Ipod Touch too...and am interested in how to jailbreak hers too.

its not that risky. but if it breaks while still on warrenty, and ur not able to restart it to factory settings because the restart is ****en up or something, then they wont fix it. what i did was when i had it jailbroke, which is SWEEETTTT, cause u can customise the **** out of anything, and i realised it was actin up, i restarted it to factory settings. it broke a week later, and i brought it into the apple store. no problems.

The apps that are already on your itouch when you buy it can't be deleted, unless you jailbreak it

If its jailbroken, you can do almost anything with it and yes that includes deleting preloaded apps.

There should be a way to backup all the existing data on the Itouch before you jailbreak it, so that it'll be easy to restore it back should you run into issues
