Employees at my work drink 1-5 energy drinks a shift. These people make me sick.
Many of the fat, useless idiots at work will claim they are tired even though they don't do any physical work. they stand around and talk to customers, yet they chug 1-5 sugar filled energy drinks to "amp" them up. They also live on a diet of cookies and candy. This makes me sick to my stomach. America makes me sick.
I do really hard physical and i MAY drink 1 sugar and calorie free energy drink before i unload a truck. i brew green tea in a cup and drink it in the raw.
cliffs for the ultimately lazy arse holes:
-fat asses in america consume too many energy drinks and candy
-they dont realize it's just a spike that will make them crash and they buy another
-i hate fat people

Lol I remember when the dispatcher would drink energy drinks all day at work, all he did was sit at a desk, dispatching calls. I guess it's not much different than coffee but coffee is cheap.

Tolerance to those grows disgustingly fast, however it's tolerance to the caffeine, not sugar obviously. At 5 a day they're consuming ~400mg of sugar, add in some cookies and lollies and they could easily be consuming 600mg of sugar. Increasing their risk of type 2 diabetes by 5 fold.

yeah sitting at a desk is tiring, so i suggest drinking green tea or taking caffeine pills. no reason to chug down these sugar bombs.
the pics is epic. had a good gif to add but it wouldn't load to photobucket.
yeah i want to punch my manager in the face, because he walks around like a nazi and drinks energy drinks. he also has a horrible diet and smokes every 20 minutes. Oh and he is a two faced @$$ hole.
It makes me sick when i tell these people to drin kthe sugar free one and they excuse is that the taste is bad. imo all energy drinks taste like the can.

I'm 6'2, 220, not little by any means. My body cann't take energy drinks. My heart will start pounding like a race horse after the first zip. My coworkers at my job go through a few a shift. After reading this thread, I might go around and punch them.

Interesting topic. I'm guilty of nipping on a Mountain Dew occasionally while I work but am trying hard not to drink it anymore.

My opinion is that energy drinks are a ****ing waste of time. They don't really do much once a tolerance has been built up, most taste like ass and when they wear off you feel even worse.
