well no the coach said that kids fail just by taking an energy drink before getting tested, and fail. cuz of some ingredient in it, it starts with t.. taurine or somethin.. so im guessin i might fail..

Police once confiscated paracetamol from me thinking it was ecstacy. So yeah, the drug test might mistake natural substances for a drug (not serious)

actually it depends on how much you take.. you can test positive for your caffiene levels and thats probably what your coach is warning you about

I'm a d1 athlete and almost all pre workout substances are banned. This isn't just because of the caffein. The supplements are supposed to enhance athletic performance, which is illegal and what athletic drug tests actually test for. You will not show up on a drug test for work, but you will show up on a drug test for athletics. I don't know how long it takes to wait and test negative, but I would not mess around with any pre-workout or dietary supplement other than standard protein and creatine monohydrate (stopped being banned after last year).Originally Posted by adrgdep
