Gallon of milk for fat loss

I've been hearing about going on drinking a gallon of milk for awhile to lose weight, and wondering if thats a decent way to do it. Maintenance is 3K for me, so I was thinking maybe a gallon of 1% milk, with protein shakes made with water, and fish caps to fill in the edges. Is this feasible to do? (I also do realize I'll probably feel way more hungry throughout the day as well).

I've come to realize that a lot of people, even me for a while, thought that ONE food would ultimately help with fat loss more than others. But my ass can get fat on chicken and broccoli just as well as pizza and cookies IF the calories are over maintenance. So, yeah, go for it. But keep the calories lower than maintenance, or it doesn't matter.

Make sure you add fiber in your diet though. Flax seed is good to mix in your shakes (ground, not the oil). Without it, you'll get constipated pretty bad. And that don't feel good....
