Out in heat, help cal burn?
Just out of curiosity, while working/spending time outside during the hotter days (ie 90+), do you burn more calories? I would imagine you would to a certain degree since your body is fighting more to maintain it's internal body temperature, but is it significant at all when it comes to weight loss? Or would this essentially be the same the same thing as wearing a sauna suit while running?

i don't think it would held burn fat, but it would make you sweat more which would make you lose more water weight so it would probably be the same as wearing sauna suit.

I think that officially, you lose less fat in hot weather than in cold, as your body doesn't have to burn as many calories to keep you at the right temperature. Also, if the weather is too hot, you'll find it hard to work at the same intensity as when it's cooler.

I don't know, I've been to the desert, all natives were extremely skinny. Furthermore, I've been to Alaska, most natives were chubbier, a lot chubbier now that I think about it.

Not sure from a scientific basis which burns more calories. But I know I can run a lot harder for a longer period of time on a cooler day. I love the fall for running outside. Summer is nice, but on 90+, humid day there is no way I am going to last as long.

Temperature is not a factor, heart rate is. Youll loose water weight in heat though obviously but thats about it.

Not if it's due to heat. You can sit and sweat in a sauna and all you'll lose is water. If you are sweating because you are running your guts out, then yep, you'll burn calories.
