RPN Eviscerate for the Not-So-Lean : A Log
Most topical fat loss products are recommended for people in the single digit bf%, or <15% or so. I am around 25% bf (guesstimation and Tanita scales) so I am interested in seeing if Eviscerate could be helpful for people who are not simply trying to lose the "last few pounds." Most people would probably say to put the Eviscerate on the shelf until a much lower bf% is reached, but I am curious to see what kind of benefit it could provide to someone who is not already lean.
I used Napalm (with Capzasin) last year when I was above 20% bf and I felt like it was, at the very least, a motivating factor in terms of overall fat loss. I got into the best shape of my life last summer using Napalm and Lean Xtreme. Here's what happened then :
http://forum.bodybuilding.com/photo/...ppuser=3902593
You can even see the "burn" of the Capsazin on chest/abs in the after picture. Yes, it hurt!!
I am also at a fat loss plateau now, and am currently losing weight at the rate of about 0.50 lbs. per week. I need something to enhance fat loss and keep me motivated!
I will be applying this to the obliques, especially in the back area, as that is where much of my lower body fat seems to get store, and to the lower abs. I may later try a small amount on the chest as well, but not sure yet.
The only supps I will be using will be the ones that I use basically year round : Daily One, Now EGCG, and fish oil (3 tspns. per day)
This, unfortunately, is where I'm at as of today :
http://forum.bodybuilding.com/photo/...067713&cat=500
Hopefully this will change over the course of this log, though!
I'm expecting the Eviscerate to arrive in the mail tomorrow morning, so that is likely when I will begin applying it.

Cool! I'm looking forward to hearing this experience! Did you use the Dermatherm? I personally think there's a lot of potential for topical fat loss products to benefit those with higher bf%.

Starting Stats :
Weight : 205.8
BF% : 25.8%
*I use Tanita scales and these things can fluctuate, at least with bf%, on a constant basis. I'm not too concerned about the what the readings are, though, and will mostly rely on photos/measurements to gauge progress.
I'll be taking some measurements this afternoon.

yes... following my fusion sub-q run, i dipped from 18 to 16 percent BF. then i began the dermatherm, dialed in my diet, and really focused on HIIT cardio.
over the course of the 8-weeks, i went from 16 to 14 percent (where i'm hovering currently), but i also haven't really been attacking the cardio as heavily as of late either.
so, i've started a sustain alpha/act-x log to keep me honest in that respect... i think i became a little complacent once striations started to reveal themselves and my gut cut up.
i basically applied the dermatherm to my pecs and abdominal region (front and sides) and noticed a difference (especially in the pecs where a lot of the fat had accumulated).
so, it will work for someone with a higher BF... but the cardio/diet components are absolutely key.

Eviscerate didn't arrive today, but hopefully I can get this started Monday.
Smitty, I'm glad to hear the Dermatherm worked for you at a higher bf%. Even though the results will probably be more noticeable for the single digit users, I don't see any reason why topical fat loss products would be less useful for double digit users. It still works the same way regardless IMO. And it also gives a real psychological boost just by applying it. So I think it's a win-win situation for people of any level.
Like you advised, I plan to get the diet and cardio dialed in as precisely as possible. Once you hit a fat loss plateau like I have, you pretty much have to create a strategy to get moving again.

Thanks Underdog! I'm planning to deliver those killer results! As much as I hate posting a picture of my flabby self in this log, I figure there's no better incentive. Knowing that I have posted a pic of myself with 25%+ body fat and a shaved stomach for everyone to see, gives me an incentive to make some major progress over the next few weeks/months!

Eviscerate arrived today so I will start the log tomorrow morning. I will be applying twice per day, once in the morning and once in the late afternoon.

I went ahead and started applying the Eviscerate...just once earlier today. I used it on the lower back fat/obliques and lower abs. It seems like this stuff goes a lot further than Napalm or Lipoderm did. A little bit (nickel size) can be spread evenly across a pretty large area.
I took a shower a few minutes ago and that's when I started feeling the heating effect. It's not a burn so much as a heating really. Last year I used Napalm and Lipoderm with roll-on Capsaizin and it actually burned like hell. And it actually woke me up in the night a few times. Hopefully, Eviscerate won't have that kind of burn. I should know in the morning, though.
The new packaging is great as well as the bottle used. It looks completely different from those initial 4 oz. beta bottles.
I'll be doing a morning and afternoon application tomorrow.

Looking forward to hearing how the cap in Eviserate feels compared to cap enhanced Lipo/Napalm.
How much cap did you add to Napalm back then?

I actually used roll-on Capsaizin which was probably overkill for the most part. I pretty much put a layer on the entire ab/oblique region and would dread taking showers or going to sleep at night.

There is a scent that stays for awhile but it's pleasant and not overpowering.

It seems like the burning sensation has gone away for the most part. Sometimes in the shower I can feel it just a little bit, but it's nothing unbearable.
A bottle of this stuff goes a long way, and a small pump is enough to cover a large area.
I haven't worked out in the last 3-4 days at all...just because I've had so much to do for the upcoming week. My diet has still been close to perfect and I've been applying the Eviscerate twice daily. I'm eating between 1800-2000 calories with about 200g of protein, 100g of carbs, and 60-70g of fat. (about 15g from fish oil)
As for application, I'm basically covering the entire midsection except for upper abs. I'm applying to the lower back, obliques, and lower abs...so basically a large coverage area.

I'm in!!
I got Eviscerate coming in tomorrow, that I'm considering adding to my Hyperdrol x2 run. Running the Ultimate Diet 2.0 alongside it, so I'm stoked to see what 'damage' I can do on my bodyfat!

My diet and cardio has not been great for the past few days, but I plan to get back to some cardio tonight. I feel like I am losing fat even though the scales are not budging much. It shows I have lost about 1/2 a pound over the last week. I will get some pictures up tonight or tomorrow morning, which should be a much better indicator.

Can you keep track of waist measurements?

I feel like I'm leaning out a bit, but it really hasn't been long enough to tell. Due to my schedule recently, I haven't done much cardio, which I hope to start back soon.
Here's where I'm at now. The photo on left is day 1, on the right is one I took tonight:
http://forum.bodybuilding.com/photo/...ze=big&cat=500
Diet has been ok except for one day, but at the plateau I'm at, I really need to get the cardio back in to really make progress.

Posting the pics and measurements is very helpful. I absolutely hate doing it in the condition level I am currently at, but it will keep the pressure on me to eat clean and workout conistently.
It's hard to see much change in the pictures above, but I do feel like my chest and love handle area are a bit more lean since starting this.
Now that I'm back to work, I will be getting a lot of walking in. I'm working at a new campus, and I have to walk all over campus throughout the day. I could actually feel the burn of the Eviscerate today because of the heat and being active so much.

Third picture is the new one I took today. Though it's hard to tell in these pictures (and subtle), I have lost an inch off my waist in the last two weeks. My diet has been ok, but due to time, I have done very little cardio.
