    When to go to the gym after eating?

    Just curious how long should you wait to go to the gym after you eat? I've always wondered. Thanks guys.

    Depends on how much you ate, how long you've fasted before you ate, what you ate, how well you tolerate exercise with food on your stomach, etc.

    Well just curious, because I just ate my breakfast and I want to go workout but I didn't know if I should or not ha ha. I at my 3 eggs, 1 whole egg 2 egg whites, 1 muffin and a banana and a glass of OJ. Not taking my workout supplements right now I'm broke as a joke so nothing at the moment :/

    The ONLY thing keeping you from going right after you eat is your upset stomach. So go whenever you feel like you can do what you do without throwing everything up. I , for example, have to wait an hour.

    as mentioned above it all depends on how much you ate and what you ate.. Personally i cant workout on an empty or full stomach... I stick to a shake w/ carbs and pb an hour before i workout...

    I once attempted to workout 2 hours after eating ribs and rice and i felt awful...

    For big meals 2-4 hours
    for shakes 30min-1 hrs

    never go on empty
