AAS and air exposure
Lets say you had some AAS left in a beaker and you didnt filter it. Stored at room tempurature in a dark place for about a month is it just as good as in a sealed bottle after filtering? Will the potency be the same? a little less? alot less? I figured only heat and light causes problems I think and hope everythings ok

so let me get this straight...you started a brew, didn't filter it or even seal it in a steril vial, and left it in a beaker for a month? Toss it...

I don't see why a .2 micron filter wouldn't sterilize it.

I know nothing of homebrewing... But I paid attention in science class.
I don't think a filter sterilizes ****... Sterile = no bacteria or viruses.
Filters remove particulate... Undisolved **** in your powder is many orders of magnitude larger than a bacteria and they are many thousands of times larger than a virus...
Throw that **** away.

A .2 micron filter will catch bacteria and viruses. Almost anything other than the hormone.

yeah lol. And I dont know of many viruses that can live outside the body easily. Throw in 1 or 2% ba and seal it for a day and everything is pretty much dead.

If said beaker was not capped, then you will want to pre-filter (dust and air particulate removal) with a higher pore sized filter, then filter through you normal methods of a .2 micron filter, and it will be as good as the day you made it.
Mota-420, how do you think they make solutions sterile? They run it through a sterile filter (hence the name) to pull out just the things you speak of.

The point was not if it was sterile or not, ill reheat it, add a % or two of BA then filter it. But does the hormone itself degrade from air exposure?

There definitley is a chance. I had test 500 that had a chunk out the top and I'm guessing air got in. Over a period of a month it turned dark piss yellow from the nice light yellow it was.

Filter it, heat it above 160 F, add ba+bb. It's good to go.
