Throat swelling, very concerned

I started taking SlimX 2 weeks ago, started with 1 pill and upped it to 2. Much better effects with 2.

The past few days, especially later at night, my throat has been swelling to the point where it's difficult to swallow. Thought it could be dehyrdation, but no matter how much water I drink, it's still there, and my mouth is still dry.

Could this be a more serious problem (thyroid for example?)

had my tonsils taken out 4 years ago, no strep, an acute case of exercise induced asthma

if its swelling you need to go to an ER. possible anaphylaxis or allergy which will only get worse over time. stop taking it at least.

ER is out of the question, with a 2 year old son and no babysitter, this is almost impossible.

This product freaks me out. I felt sicker than hell when using it. But swollen throat makes no sense... at least based off of the ingredients list.

I don't think it's that serious, but it's definitely worth having a professional check it out and tell you exactly what is going on just for your own peace of mind, imo.

Only compound that I know of that can cause swolen throat and is used for cognitive function is methylphenidate (ritalin)

Is your throat sore and experience really bad dry mouth in the morning? It's probably a swollen thyroid. Cancel usage and wait it out a few days.

I was completely out of whack after running some thyroidal compounds last summer. Hair thinned out like a mother fcker. It ended up growing back though, but damn did it suck.

not sore at all, but the dry mouth is miserable. literally drank 2 bottles of water in about 15 minutes and my mouth is still dry.

just read about Thyroiditis...symptoms:
panic attacks, anxiety, heart palpitations, problems swallowing and frequently problems sleeping. (sounds like what most everybody experiences taking SX)

Cause can be nutritional deficiencies, particularly, vitamin D, calcium and magnesium. (i need to take at least a multi vitamin, but i don't, and take in only about 500-700 cals a day)

Very interesting, and worrying. anabolic xtreme might wanna look into their product being linked to thyroid issues

most likely thyroid issues. I would stop it for a week or two and restart it and see if the same problems arise, assuming that they disappear after cancellation.
