Maca products, potency and differences

I am wondering if anybody has noticed any difference between maca products

Product 1: NOW maca 500 mg caps

Vs

Product 2 : NOW maca powder 6:1

vs root of the matter Gelatinized Maca or their normal Maca bags.


also I know everyone recommends 1-3 gms of maca per day so does that mean the now maca powder of 6:1 can be taken at 1-2 pills ( if I cap it, it would be equivalent to 6-12 pills or 3-6 gms of the normal maca that NOW sells)

I use the NOW Raw Maca. I can't stand the taste of the powder regardless of what it's mixed in. I take 3 of the Raw Maca caps a day which is much easier than taking a whole handful of the NOW Maca Root caps. I think it's your best bet. Libido and energy are up higher for me on the Raw caps btw compared to the older root caps.

NOW actually sells the raw 6:1 concentrate in caps now too. That's what I take, sorry.

I found the now caps in 400 mg and 750 mg caps. I currently take 600 mg X 3 ( I capped them)

I take the 400mg one upon waking, at lunch, and after dinner. I double up after dinner sometimes if I need to perform

I generally take the caps all together in one shot, have you noticed any difference from splitting vs all combined?

Well I take it for a slight energy boost since dropping stims all together. So I try to split it up to keep it more constant.

it has a pretty nutty taste, I would not personally put it in my shake.

I like to say 3-4g , twice daily of the regular powder, but this 6:1 powder I've never used, and has me interested.

If we are comparing the 6:1 powder vs. the regular powder caps, yes.

the Maca 6:1 powder says take one tea spoon per day which is equivalent to 16 gms of normal maca, is this amount necessary or can you feel effects at a samller dose? I take between 1500-2000 mg per day for the past week and I don't think I have felt anything new
