Is jump roping just as good or better than running to lose weight?
woke up early today to go running, 5:50am right now, was thinking about just jump roping today at my house instead of going out and running.

That depends on how long and fast you do it for and whether you suck at it or not.

How long did you run for? Chances are you can't jump rope for that same amount of time. If you go for an hour run, that is better than 15 minutes of jump rope which is probably the max someone can do

You have to actually jump with your whole body with "jump"-rope. Running is a little hop
