No-Gi Pan ams training
Hey guys im going to be competing in the No-gi world on october 3rd in New york. I will be doing the adult blue belt 175.5. Im going to make a layout for everything that I will be doing sometime soon. Here are my stats.
Height-6 ft 1
Weight-178-184
Heres what I did today.
Lifting-
DB bench:
55x8
70x5
100x6
Squat:
135x5
225x5
275x1
300x3
15 ft Rope climb x3
30min of drilling then 15 minutes live rolling.

Did some explosive lower body training such as broad jumps,shots, heavy bag shots and vertical jumps. Then I did some 3 sets of gi pullups.Finally I grappled live for about an hour and a half also I helped teach the class tonight I went over the flower sweep,flower sweep into armbar,arm bar from guard with proper hip movement and a set up for the armbar from mount.

Am session:
Lifting-

Did shots with the slamming dummy about 50 times then rolled for 10min followed by drilling all of our main sweeps.
PM session:
Rolled for about 20min before class then for another 15min after class. I was drained after the morning session felt like crap then some cocky douchef rom florida came in trying to tell everyone what to do even the instructor and this kid is a white belt. He told us that he was going to show us how florida does bjj, well lets just say he didnt like how baltimore does bjj I tapped him 3 times in 2 min and 30 seconds with ease and he proceeded to walk out without saying a word to anyone.

Nice. I didn't know you were a blue belt or I must of forgotten. I think I might do No-Gi Pan Ams in Oct too or I'll atleast be in attendance cheering on my team. Good luck bro

Yeah I havent been around for awhile I just got my belt last thursday. Good luck to you too man Im hoping to bring home gold. Im deffinitely going to have good strength and conditioning for this tourney!

Probably going to hit Grapplers Quest in Lancaster on sept 26th. Not sure if I should enter begginer which is 9-18months or Intermeidiate which is 18-36months i ve been training 8months when the tourney comes around. Whatever skill level im doing I will be in the 169 weight class and I will do absolute.

Haha no skipping out this time. Im scared to start them up again i had to take two weeks off because i ****ed up tissue in my ribs and last week was my first week back.

Alot of live rolling today rolled with white,blue and purples probably got in a good 1hr 30min of live work today proabably more. Im really just trying to work on keeping my guard passes tight and really controlling when I get to mount,side mount,keasa gatame,knee on the belly and reverse kesa gatame.

405x2 could have got more but its always in the 90s in my gym and my hands get sweaty as hell and I cant grip anything for ****.

Then did a couple of sets of bag takedowns followed by shots on air using both legs, I really wanna be able to shoot either way. Then to top it off me and my partner flowed for about 30 min, it was my first time actually flowing and everything started to get really smooth the longer we went. No training tonight or tomorrow due to stuff for college.

Did some timed rolling rounds 4 3min rounds straight with no rest switched partners each round felt real good on top controlling and on bottom preventing the pass and I wasnt tired at all.
