Are biceps and triceps important for looking wider ?

Hello everybody,

Excuse me for my question that could seem weird but besides developing delts (and especially External and posterior delts) i just want to know if well developed triceps and biceps could make me wider ?

Thanks for your help !

greetings from France

Wider as in V-shaped?

If yes then I would say not really.

Lats, traps, shoulders and low body fat % will contribute to that wide V shape look

Gyms are full of guys who only train arms and chest and they're about as wide as a plank of wood.

You want to get wide? You'll need a decent frame to start with and you'll need to make shoulder and back training a priority.

Arnold never really had a wide shoulder structure, which became more obvious as he backed off the juice at the end of his bodybuilding career, but that didn't stop him from building one of the best physiques ever.

i agree, if your main priority / focus is to get a wider frame i would be focusing on your delts mainly medial, and back mainly lats.
