Ab workouts... should I do them?

I've probably done a direct ab workout about 10 times in the last couple years... I'm not super strong when I do them, but I'm happy with the way they look. Somebody tell me some good reasons to train them.

since you are just a big dude weighing in at 228, I would continue to do them even if it is just once a week. If you are that big and have abs, you want to keep those man because those are really hard to come by at such a heavy weight. just my opinion

If you can see them and they look fine, then why train them and make them bigger?

All that is going to do is increase the size of your stomach.

If you lift for bodybuilding then don't work them.

If you lift for strength then work them.

It depends on your goals.
