Haiz reviews the PP TRS Stack

Finally getting up my final review on the TRS stack. I apologize for the delay, but I'm in the process of moving (and moving again), so I've lacked internet access for about 2 weeks except for a couple random hours here and there. It has however given me time to collect my thoughts on the stack and its effects. I'll review it based upon some key effects I saw, followed by comments I made throughout the log.

Mood: 10/10
For me, the positive effects on mood from the stack were noticed immediately and throughout the log. For example:

While this is novel for me in most respects, the generally great mood I have at WORK is quite novel and refreshing. I've never been one to shy away from work, but there are obviously a vast amount of other things I'd rather do than work all day . On the stack however, work seems a lot less....****ty. "

Energy - 9/10

Along with mood, the daily energy that I've had while on the stack is definitely a bit up. Before starting Sustain Alpha, I would tend to get a bit tired around 1-2 PM. However, since starting Sustain Alpha, I have noticed the daily lull in energy. Really positive effect that is being confirmed at this point.

I can say for certain at this point that the TRS stack is definitely helping me with all-day energy levels. It isn't like I have a bunch more energy, but while on the stack I have pretty much avoided all of the lulls in energy that would commonly occur to me throughout the day. I also feel like I have a bit more drive/motivation to get up and do things, rather than sit and browse the internet or partake in other less-active forms of entertainment. I also don't have a need for caffeine or other stims in the morning. I used to need them to get me awake, but they are not necessary at all now. I still take some pre-wo, as I tend to like a bit of an extra push in that scenario, but all other caffeine intake is out.

Sleep/Recovery - 10/10

I'll lump these two together, as I feel like are incredibly related. I've been getting some amazing sleep. Really haven't gotten sleep this good since back in August/September of last year before I started my long cut. I FINALLY feel like my body is getting back to normal. This is AWESOME. I am recovering from workouts like never before too, which is going to allow me to push up training frequency a day per week.

As has been incredibly consistent throughout the log, my sleep and recovery are OFF THE CHARTS. I have not slept this well in a long while and I am loving it. I wake up refreshed each and every morning and for that I think the stack is 100% worth it, even if that was all it delivered. I am growing, adding muscle, feeling great, and have plenty of energy for anything/everything I do. Sleep and Recovery (along with diet) are the foundation of adding muscle, so I couldn't be happier about my newfound ability to sleep like a baby.

Gym Performance - 9/10

Three workouts this week and I smashed PR's in ALL of them. Some good lifts for me included Dips + 30 pounds for 10 reps (non-failure) and hitting a PR in deadlifts by 10 pounds AND for reps. Along with the specific benefits above, the overall benefits of the stack in the gym are really quite impressive. The enhanced mood, energy, and recovery, have made making weight increases in the gym a PIECE OF CAKE. I add weight each and every time I get in the gym and it feels better as well. Also, my General Physical Preparedness work has made a big jump in the past weeks. I added weight to my sled pulling schedule and intervals. Meanwhile, measuring via a heart rate monitor, my HR is LOWER during the GPP than it had been weeks before. Great stuff.

Random Positive Effects

In addition to the above things from my log, I also want to mention a couple things.

First, EndoAmp taken pre-workout is great for focus and strength. A half scoop should do for most, as too much choline may make some people slow/sleepy. I found half pre and half before bed to be awesome. Also, taking it pre-bed makes for some great sleep and crazy dreams.

The smell of the new sustain alpha is much much better than the old. Not bad at all.

Side-Effects - 3/10 (Sustain Alpha), Others = No Sides

Unfortunately for me, I had to cut the use of Sustain Alpha short, because of the rash it caused on my skin. The first time I used SA the same thing happened. This time, my skin wasn't dry however. My skin must just be sensitive to whatever is in the carrier. It is a shame, because the product is quite good.

Overall - 8/10

As a stack overall, I give it an 8/10 due to me having to cut SA out. However, for those that can handle topicals (I can't), the stack would certainly be a 9/10 or better. For me, the overall improvements in daily mood and energy make the stack worth it 100X over. I think that you could get by with just the SA for those effects though.

As for the EndoAmp, it is my FAVORITE product of the three and one I will continue to use. The overall health benefits, in addition to the performance benefits are really quite amazing. I would take it over many "flashier" products anyday. It was my favorite product in the stack b/c of the positive effects on energy, recovery, and overall well-being.

Toco-8 is a great supplement and has some nice research behind it, but at this point, it isn't something I see myself using in the future (or at least until I'm a bit older with more expendable funds).

As far as body comp is concerned, I added some muscle during the process for sure. I add slowly (as to not add much BF), so the changes aren't terribly noticeable, but 2 or so pounds of solid mass (water + glycogen + actual muscle) were probably netted. I'm pretty happy about that to be honest, as I don't see adding more than .5 pounds of muscle per week as realistic in most circumstances.

I agree completely with your thoughts on endoamp, I think this is going to be a staple from now on. Great product. I mix a half scoop Endoamp with a scoop of Poseidon twice a day and have felt great.
