Staple Supps for the Ladies?
I've got a lengthy question for the knowledgeable gals on the site so I can better assist my female workout partner in what she should look into for supporting supplements. About 2 months ago, she started lifting with me - she never lifted before - and has made some great strides in developing muscle and burning fat and she is on her way to my supplement guys later today. While the place I buy from is fantastic and extremely knowledgeable about making recommendations for guys, I'm not 100% positive they know the same amount in regards to women so who better to ask than women that lift?
The girl in question is 19, 5'7 and 143lbs. and as I mentioned, is fairly new to lifting. The only "supplement" she takes is a whey protein isolate and her diet is very solid but she'd like to know what she should get for supplements to aid in gaining strength, losing weight, recovery, etc...
In my case, I have fish oil caps, BCAA's, Creatine, Glutamine, Whey Iso, and ECA. I also take 2 Pre-WO's.
She tried ECA when she first started working out in small doses but had strong side effects as a result so I am concerned about her stim tolerance. Because of this I think natural supps might be the best, but I'm not sure they're necessary and I don't want her wasting money if she won't stand to reap some semblance of real benefits.
So, are there any staples for women that are looking to get trim and gain muscle that are worth the cost?

I would stick with the basics: fish oil, whey, creatine, good multi-vit, maybe some extra vit C and a good cal/mag. There's no point in taking stimulants if you don't need them, and the right diet and workouts is likely to get the job done for her. A cup of expresso before a workout would be all she's likely to need.
If I were to spend money on one non-basic thing, I'd buy some Nitrobolan, which I love taking before and after workouts.

I use a whey protein, xtend during my workouts and fish oil with a few of my meals. The best results come from diet, training and consistency.
