I know everyone is going to say everyone is different, but tell me in general, where do men lose fat from their body first? I am asking this because I have lose 27 lbs (220-193) and I notice no visible difference whatsoever other than my face, and I know my face didn'y lose 27 lbs. So please answer my question, and if you don't know, tell me where you lose fat first when you diet. Also, last year I was at 155 (lost 40 lbs) and I didn't show any fat loss, but I was actually benching more after the diet. LMk. thanks.

Usually everything far away from your core.
Arms, legs, neck, ...
From an evolutionary standpoint, the fat on your stomach serves to protect your organs from the cold, cruel outside world!

It can vary a lot dpending where you hold weight I find my face/neck fat is one of the last places although I lose all over it sticks there and belly/hips are the last places.
First I find legs and arms then shoulders and back then belly and face.
Women are reverse to this normally legs and bum and arms are there fat points.

The first place I noticed was my fingers! When I would interlace my fingers, they felt "strange" since they had shrunk so much. Then it seemed to be the subcutaneous fat in my legs, then my arms, but never my gut.
I am about ready to do belly flops from the high dive at the pool to help rearrange it all!May 31 WT: 227.6 BF%: 33.2%

Aug 30 WT: 199.8 BF%: 28.7%

For me it's the face and upper UPPER torso..
Right now the only place where you can see some definition is my delts, top pecs and back. My stomach and love handles are doing terrible. Just be patient.. youll get there.Sept of Baelor was an inside job. Wildfire can't melt stone masonry.

lol i used to be overweight couple years ago n the manboobs thing was kinda slowly throughout but mostly closer to the end. It also seems to be the FIRST fkn spot for the fat to go to if i "messup" my diet at night.

Honestly, i was always wondering the same thing. Here's how it played out for me. When I first started losing weight last oct. my boobs did nothing, but at the same time, i was doing circuit training and not alot of chest excercises. I quit 2 months later. I started back up again around the middle of June. Since then i've been doing chest excercises every week. Since then i've lost about half my boobs. They're not as puffy as they use to be either. I feel so good about it i go up to my fiancee all the time and be like "Hun, feel my boobs, they're shrinking at an alarming rate." she laughs gropes them and usually pushes me away or comments on how they are shrinking.
I think the difference between then and now is chest excercises and eatting right. I'd say doing that, you might see a change in about a month or 2.

face, shoulders, chest, upper back and legs all seem to get leaner evenly. my lower back and love handles and little tummy pouch at the bottom are last.

For me the shoulders,arms and butt were the first to go the shoulders and backside slimmed down straightaway,then the core started slimming down now its the l lower stomach and last bit of chest fat remaining

Agree on the extremities thing. I've got some serious vascularity in my arms now, but still no definition at all in my torso.

I have lost almost 10Kgs in this order:
Face (Quite a bit gone)
Chest (Noticible difference)
Legs & Hips (Pants fit much better)
Tummy (Has become quite loose but i still see a big zero there)

so from what i am understanding, once the weight loss begins it triggers 1 area then moves on to the next? seems to me my body has been losing a bit evenly but that is just mirror glances, i been out on vacation fort the last month and still got a little while to go i wont be able to see till i get back home and take my snapshots, but i have lost 10 pounds since ive been on this vacation :-d

I thinkthe body does lose it evenly more or less but obviously the areas with less fat will become leaner first and more noticable,most fat peoples shoulders and arms start off a lot leaner than their bellies

haha I am not going to lie, I seriously think I lost 10 pounds of fat off my butt. Wish I could have lucked out and that would have been the first place my body stored the fat before my stomach!

Thanks everyone! I also am wondering, what's the difference between the chest and belly? (please don't make fun of me for this question). Also, I started to notice the two bones sticking out of my skin belowmy throat and above my boobs. Is this a good sign? Also, I'm going to be posting my 2 1/2 week progress pics. Will any1 judge them for me? I went from 220 to 209. Then went on keto and went from 209 to 193.

yeah, people said they noticed it in my face, but I noticed nowhere else. My goal is 160 and I should be around 10% then. Then I want to be 170 with muscle and stay there 'til college, Any1 give me an bf% estimate for a 15 year-old boy who is 5 10.5 193 lbs and 36-37 waist and 15 in neck?
