just research the benefits of protein. why athletes need more than the average person. where it comes from. etc.
she'll come around, just educate her about it. my mom was the same when i was 15, now she tries my shakes all the time.Syracuse Ironman - 2007 - Teen Overall

Prove to her that it isn't bad for you. Do some research, print out some articles, highlight some key sentences and such. Then, put them in a folder and present them to her like an adult. Sit her down and talk to her. When parents see that you have taken the time and effort to do some research and have gone about it in a mature way, they will be more willing to listen.

I read all these stories of how people's parents don't allow them to have supplements and I just consider myself so lucky that my mum works for a gym and is quite a health and fitness person herself while also being a certified personal trainer. She knows all about supplements and has no hesitation when I want them since she uses a few herself so she would be a total hypocrite haha. Just find some good articles on the supplements you want, bring her to the computer, and have her read them. She may hesitate and allow you to get them if you pay for them on your own, but atleast you'll have them.

Only time i use it atm but it doesnt realy count as an extra 20gr of protein in 4 weeks will not change my stats that much.

Educate her. Not that u really need whey anyways but its better to explain with an educated article. You need to realize that the majority of people are ignorant to the weightlifting world, and even more so about nutrition.
No? Perhaps my 6 rep power may persuade your decision....
You know you've had a good workout if you feel like your gonna sh*t yourself. If you actually DO sh*t yourself........well you sir are a trooper.

If she doesn't come around to letting you buy protein, at least try to get her to buy you a ton of protein-rich food. That's the best source of protein anyways bro

Glad to hear it
Any whey protein that you can afford is good really, I currently use Optimum Whey.
You can also eat cottage cheese at night which is rich in protein and its slow releasing which is great at night so your body doesn't go into catabolism and it stays in anabolism.
You can also use creatine. If you will get the creatine, just use the normal creatine monohydrate powder, dont get the pills or the more expensive "micronized" crap. Hope that helps.
